Clean and Tidy Hotel

I used the hotel for a quick stop over when arriving to Lima before departing next day Staff were friendly and helpful and arranged an early breakfast for me The room was clean and comfortable, I did not use the kitchen but it looked well equipped

Nos gusto la piscina porque esta disponible hasta las 7pm....realizamos check in tarde pero aun asi tuvimos oportunidad de disfrutar el area de piscina.Tb disfrutamos de un buen desayuno que nos parecio muy rico y la atencion fue agradable. No nos gusto el olor a cigarrillo que nos desperto por la mañana y era muy marcado en el baño...no entendimos como era posible algo asi . Tampoco me parecio bien que no preguntaran como pasamos la noche? Que si todo estuvo bien overnight? Que si necesitabamos algo ? Ese tipo de preguntas

Great location, comfortable enough!

Very friendly staff, breakfast was good. Great location! Only issue I had was the noise from moving furniture on the 5th floor at 8am (we were on 4th floor), that woke and kept us up, after getting to the hotel at 3am. Also, was tough to cool down, and the air conditioner was super loud! Those were my only complaints, overall a good stay!

Nice hotel, nice location

Best Location in Lima with Best Customer Service

The most outstanding features of this hotel are its location and customer service. If this is your top concern, I highly recommend Casa Fanning. Both Barranco and Mira Flores are within walking distance, and you can easily access public transportation (the metro stop is a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel) if you are interested in exploring Centro Lima. I cannot thank Monica (one of the front desk employees) enough for all of the helpful advice that she provided my husband and I during our stay. Our trip was entirely planned out with standby tickets; we arrived in Casa Fanning earlier than expected and left for Cusco (the next destination in our Peru trip) also earlier than originally planned. Casa Fanning and its staff were more than willing to change our booking without charging us for the cancellations. Concerning the room itself, everything was pretty basic but clean and spacious. We stayed in a bedroom with attached common room and small kitchen. The bathroom is a little tight with not the best ventilation system and the shower heater is very old-school. We were in Lima during the dry season (also winter in that area); the common room can get pretty cold, with just one portable heater provided for the bedroom. The breakfast was also basic but very delicious, and every morning we had different options for the egg selection. My husband always left the hotel a little hungry but I was more than satisfied with the food.

Wonderful room but no hot water

Lovely hotel. Very spacious room with kitchenette. Nice breakfast included. Walk to shops and restaurants. Only complaint was that the shower was only luke warm at best. We told the front desk and they said they would have it fixed but even after they came and looked at it there was no difference.

Good apartment

Nice apartment which provides everything you need. Although the apartment has a very good size, the bathroom is a bit tight. I can't comment on the breakfast, as breakfast is only available past 7:30 am, and I had to check out earlier. They should improve on that.
