"The check-in was easy and we were given very detailed instructions including the parking location. For us the distance to walk for the parking was not an issue, but be aware that it is a bit away. The room was beautiful! We had a corner room on the top floor. We both gasped when we first opened the door and saw the incredible view of the old bridge and the river! It was stunning! Room was large with an extremely comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We did get the buffet breakfast and were surprised it had scrambled eggs, sausage, and bacon as we are Americans but knew German breakfast usually only had boiled eggs. It was a nice surprise. There were lots of other more German items on the buffet as well which were delicious. We would love to stay here again when we have more than one night to spend in Heidelberg! Thank you for such a beautiful experience!"

"Fabulous hotel right in Old Town with restaurants all in walking distance. We were thrilled with hotel and the location. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms were pretty spacious. We stayed in Room 15. I encourage anyone to try the breakfast, lunch or dinner! We loved the restaurant at this hotel, not only is the food delicious, we had great service. I would definitely recommend this hotel! They also speak english."

"The hotel is very, very well located, in an old traditional house right in the center of the old town near the Alte Brücke and the Rathaus. The breakfast was abundant and well served. The staff was great. However, the carpet in our room needed a good cleaning, and the hotel needs a bit of an update. The room was very quiet and the beds comfortable. hotel does not have an elevator, so if you carry large suitcases I recommend you request a room on the 1st floor (2nd floor in the US) I have to say that the description of the hotel on the website is quite accurate. In all fairness, It is a good stay for the cost."
