Weinachten in Limburgerhof
Our recent trip to visit family in Limbergerhof De. allowed us the opportunity to stay at the very fine Limburgerhof Hotel and Residence. The whole thing was great. Front desk staff were always helpful and gave us good advice for walking the areas. The restaurant was excellent and even had several special settings during the Christmas season. We will visit again and try the sauna and massage services next time,!

Great value hotel for Mannheim area
For work in and around the Mannheim area, this hotel was a great balance between price and quality - so much better than the extra cost of staying in Mannheim itself. The restaurant has plenty to choose from, the staff are friendly and hotel is clean. The one downside is that by comparison to some of the city hotels, it is a little tired. If you're after a Hilton or Marriott style, this isn't for you.

What a bed!!!
This was a short one night stay that was picked for pure convenience. First, there is ample parking at the hotel which is great no matter when you arrive. The hotel is clean, located at the end of a dead-end street and quiet despite the highway being right there. Rooms, however, look a bit cramped. Bathrooms are quite small and mostly functional. However, don't let this fool you. This is going to be one of the best beds you may ever have slept on. Unbelievable comfort! It looks like just a regular mattress with no more to it, but once your body lies flat, get ready for one of the best night's sleep you will ever have. I got up in the morning after a short night with a spring in my foot. It was incredible. Usually, I only have such good restorative sleep at home on a very expensive mattress. Management know this; they are ready to hand out information if you are interested in finding out more about this extremely high quality system. It really is the best bed I have ever had anywhere at a hotel. I am not sure I would want to spend many days there, but I definitely would take that bed with me anywhere. Otherwise, the room is functional, albeit basic. Their fitness room is small and basic as well, but it is nice. They also offer access to a sauna, which I did not use. Breakfast is basic in a nice room. Not much in the area, so be sure that you have beverag/food with you if you do not want to use the on-site restaurant. but for a good nights sleep, stay here!

Convenient location and quiet atmosphere
I like the restaurant and the breakfast is great! The hotel is small enough that getting in and out is quick. The food is good and I appreciate the in-room water boiler with tea and coffee.

Nice Place, but it needs AC
Stayed for 1 night. The hotel was nice but it was very warm and there is no AC. We were provided a fan when we asked and that helped...but it was hot. This hotel is not near anything, but is close enough that we found places to eat and found our way to the sights we wanted to see.

Great hotel to visit by car
Found this hotel on Expedia for a last minute booking. We rented a car in Munich and were visiting Stuttgart, Black Forest area, and Rhine castles. So we wanted a hotel with free parking, Internet, breakfast - similar to a Hilton Garden Inn or Fairfield Suites in the states. This fit the bill nicely! Rooms were a decent size, not large by American standards, but you can open your suitcases. Parking lot was full, but there is street parking and not much else around the hotel property, so you will find parking even when arriving late. Hotel is off the main path but with a car, its just a few minutes to get back on the highway. Breakfast is typical European German, with breads, fruit, cheese, meats, cereals and eggs. But they do run out. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant, not bad, but can be pricey. Great value, I booked on Expedia and thought the price was in Euros, but it was in US Dollars, making it a steal compared to other hotels. Factor in free parking, breakfast and wireless Internet and it was a great deal. So, if you have a car and can use this as a base to jump off to sight see, its a great location. The other hotels we stayed at inside major cities cost more than 2X, they were convenient to the city centers, but this was ideal to use as a base with a car to drive around and come back for the night.
