Great Location

The house was obviously very clean and had the usual kitchen amenities that you need but there are some areas that are in need of repairs/replacement. The place has seen some heavy use. The communication was great with the host and the location is amazing for sure! If they replaced/repaired some of the more worn items, it would be a 5 star stay. good wiwith the host.

Wonderful Road's End House

This house was perfect for our 2 adult kids, 2 grandchildren (1 boy, 1 girl) and us grand parents. Bedroom configuration with private bathrooms was great. Well equipped kitchen was also nice. Loved watching ocean from dining room table. I'll definitely try to get Nancy's house again!

A hidden treasure

First impression from the street it looks just ok. But when you open the door and walk down the hallway into the big bright great room with stunning views of the ocean. We loved huge dining room table for playing board games with all 6 of us. The kitchen had everything that we could possibly need. All of the bedrooms are upstairs they each have their own bathroom which was a big plus. Roads End is a very quiet neighborhood but close to everything Lincoln City. We all loved it here for the three nights that we stayed in June.

we loved our walk on the beach

If you love walking on the beach and admiring sunset, this place is ideal. We had a lovely stay during the holidays and enjoyed being outdoors. The house was comfortable for 5 and the kids enjoyed playing pool. The ocean is only visible from the dining room on the first floor and from 2 bedrooms upstairs. The main problem during our stay was the wi-fi instability. My husband and I had to work for a few days and it has been difficult as we had to reboot the box several times a day, interrupting meetings.

This rental elevated our vacation experience!

This home is beautifully decorated with nautical theme including handmade glass floats, boats, and more. The home sits on a slight hill and even though it's a few houses from the beach, there are great views. Especially from upstairs! We were able to watch a whale swim by and the friendly deer were in and around the yard each evening. The home was very clean! Which is what you want in a rental. It is either a newer home, or newly updated. I tried to search for anything wrong with the home and it was hard to find. There are some minor paint chips going up and down the stairs (probably from luggage), but there really isn't anything wrong with the home. It's beautiful! The kitchen is lovely and functional with all that you need to prepare meals. I didn't plan on cooking much on this vacation, but my kids were having so much fun in the garage game room, that they asked if I could just go to the grocery store to get food and cook it there. That way they wouldn't have to leave to go to restaurants. It was just so much fun playing Guitar Hero and playing pool. We had a group of 9, including my teenage children and adult children/significate others. There was plenty of room for us all. The 3 large bedrooms all include on suite bathrooms. There was so much room! We come to town for a family reunion and after visiting rentals that others family had reserved, this rental was hands down the biggest and best!

Our first day got off to one not so pleasant start. My granddaughter was taking a shower and suddenly the smoke alarm there was going off. I called the owner and she knew immediately what I was calling about. So if that alarm is recurring problem, why aren’t guest notified in advance? Then in the middle of the night, the carbon monoxide detector was going off. The next day, the fire department had to come in and check everything in the detector needed to be replaced. Fortunately, there was no carbon monoxide problems just a detector problem. So we started our first full day totally exhausted after being up in the middle of the night. The ocean views were great. Unfortunately, there are no blinds in the front windows so by late afternoon and early evening we were nearly blinded trying to sit in the dining area or even watch the TV. We ate dinner with our sunglasses on in the house. We did like the location and the ability to walk down and across the street and be at the beach in less than 10 minutes. The tide pools at roads end are wonderful! The kids learned to play pool, and the deer visitors were a treat.

Teachers at the Beach

6 teaching colleagues having a quiet gathering at the beach to celebrate our junior member turning 50!! The house was perfect for us. The large dining table, well equiped kitchen, and bedrooms with bathrooms and separate beds, were the perfect accommodations. Access to the beach was easy. The views from the house are lovely. Birthday dinner at Kyllos----perfect!!!

A Perfect Stay!

Gorgeous views, a very short walk to the beach, a clean & tidy home with a fun rec room and a well-supplied kitchen made this a wonderful place to vacation. It was also really nice for everyone to have their own bathroom. The host is friendly and responsive.

Girl's weekend

The home is well stocked, clean and comfortable. Close to beach access with a beautiful ocean view. We had 8 deer in the backyard our first night and they visited each night. We will be back next year!.

Great for adults

It was perfect for three old men friends ( high school pals) to have a rendezvous for a couple days. It was nice each of us had our own bedroom with a bath.
