Great cozy home!
This was a great place to stay! The house was very clean and fit the description to a tee. Excellent communication with the owner who was very quick to respond to all of our questions. They provided all of the basic amenities and more than we needed...even dog bowls, poop bags and treats for our dog which was a pleasant surprise! The hot tub is amazing and the fenced in backyard made it much less stressful to bring our dog. She loved watching all of the wildlife in the area!! Would definitely stay here again.

We loved the sweet home and its updated rooms and decor. Happily used the toaster, oven, washer/dryer. Loved the welcome notes, especially the one inside the fridge :) Able to watch our shows via a smart TV and the bed was comfortable. The sunroom was especially handy since it snowed during our stay, for taking off and putting on our shoes/boots/coats etc :) Would stay again!

House is small and oddly arranged. The primary bedroom is across the house from the bathroom. The futon in the laundry room is very hard. The lightbulbs were out over the kitchen sink and in the fridge. The snow was never scooped to the front door and steps despite owner assurance snow removal crew would arrive the day after the storm. There is also a ledge/curb to the side of the back door that is dangerous. My mother in law fell after stepping on it under the snow. Despite cleaning up after our dogs we were charged an extra fee to clean up dog waste - which was not located in the snow. The fee was charged three days after we left, presumably when the snow melted. I notice they blamed the snow cover for hiding it in the response to the next guest. It’s hard to find places that take pets, sorry we won’t stay here again.

I'm sorry you feel this way. The 9 piles of dog Pooh was photographed and sent to me 2 hours after your stay from my cleaner, I work, and it was NYE so it took me an extra day to ask you for the fee. The light switch to the light above the sink is located under the upper cabinet next to the sink, as I stated in the check in instructions I send to all renters. I wasn't aware of the fridge light being burnt out, I will absolutely get that fixed, thank you. Yes the home is a split floor plan and the restroom is closer to the kids bedroom, about a 10' walk from the master. Personally I like it closer to the kids so I dont hear it being used while I sleep. I'm not sure this is a fair 3 star review. I took ample photos so my guests can see all stairs, and know the exact layout just by seeing photos. House is small yes, that why I state it's 1100sq ft. I hope you have a change of heart and stay with us again. I also lost a star from the guest AFTER your stay because we forgot 3 more 💩 piles in the yard! Frustrating! I don't want to eliminate allowing dogs, please be a responsible dog owner.

Not sure if it worths the money
The house is very well located and we love the fact that there were toys for kids to play with and plates, cups and silverware for kids. On the other hand, the backyard was very dirty with dog pop, the third room is not really a bedroom it is a laundry room.

Thank you for reviewing us. Unfortunately the guest before you failed to pick up 💩, my cleaner picked up 9 piles, and a few must have been under snow for your arrival. I apologize. We do our best to keep all 💩 picked up at all times. The home is a 2 bedroom, and we have it listed as a 2 bedroom in our description. Vrbo states 3 bedrooms because of our dedicated sleeping areas, not bedrooms. Sorry for the confusion. I hope we have you back in the future. Thank you,

Great home away from home!
We thoroughly enjoyed our three day stay. The house was perfect for our family to relax, play games, and cook meals. There were enough beds for everybody and a nice fenced in yard for our pup. Kitchen was well stocked and home was close to everything we wanted to do in Lincoln. Thanks for a great stay!

Super cute home!
Communication with the host was easy and fast. The house was very clean. You definitely get a country vibe and forget you are in a city which we enjoyed a lot. Our dog had fun in the fenced-in backyard. Very quiet neighborhood.

The door was overlocked, the code didn't work, we sat out in the cold for 90 minutes til we decided
NEVER stayed at the place. Code worked, but the place was overlocked with a deadbolt, so the door wouldn't open. Totally disappointing as my four friends also waited 90 minutes to get in. TERRIBLE phone assistance. Got dropped tiwce and on hold for over an hour and 10 minutes. Will be a LOONG time before I ever consider a VRBO again.

False info. This renter is a scam and stayed all 3 days, and then REVERSED. Payment with his credit card. Vrbo is on top of this scammer and hopefully will get this resolved soon. So disappointing.

Wonderful Cottage.
It is a beautiful, clean, well maintained and well stocked home. Very dog friendly. Gibbs (our Doberman) loved the spacious fenced back yard. I hope it's available for our next trip to Lincoln.

Weekend stay
The house was very nice, well stocked and lots of towels and bed linens available. I would have liked to know the sunroom had no air conditioning before we got our check in information. The pull out bed was also pretty uncomfortable but there was an extra futon and the couches were comfy. The hot tub was functional but a few jets wouldn't turn on. We also couldn't get the jacuzzi tub working. Overall it was a good stay and we'd recommend it.

Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoyed our home Yes the hot tub is 22 years old and a bonus :) For safety I leave the jet tub breaker off in the fuse box. Sunroom has no AC, I have that info on the listing description, just leave the doors open to the inside and it cools off very quickly :) I would have loved to help you out at anytime with a simple message if you had any questions 🏡💜

1st of all, the property manager is great. She had good communication and resolved the door code quickly. Property grounds were overgrown. Hot tub had sand and toys in the bottom and the water didn't smell good. 1 mile from a prison and your at the end of a dead end dirt road. I don't like being asked to not wear shoes in a house you're renting for vacation. The 3rd bedroom is an enclosed porch.

Thank you for your honest feedback. Yes our country feel home is on a quiet dead end country road in the middle of the city, thats what we love most about it. The private gravel road is approximately 200 feet in length off the paved main road The hot tub unfortunately doesn't get cared for from our renters, therefore it's a bonus and not part of our rental price. We do have a weekly hot tub maintenance crew as well as a lawn service and trugreen. I'm sorry your rental dates may have been at the long end of the grass week. I hope you still had a great time :)

Great family and pet friendly place
We had a great stay at this property. I appreciate so much that the owners provided some of those convenient things that one might forget to pack, like toiletries, ziplock bags, and storage containers. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, small appliances, and cooking utensils. We didn't use the back yard, due to the high heat. We are glad the a/c worked very well. Overall, the home was clean, nicely decorated, free of clutter, and comfortable. The only small things to mention are that one of the bedside lights in the master bedroom was burned out, as were a few lightbulbs in the ceiling fan in the living room. In the kitchen, there was only one cotton tea towel that was absorbent enough to use. The others were from the dollar store (?) and looked nice, but weren't useful. But overall, this was a great place to stay, and we highly recommend it!

Thank you for your review :) I also noticed light bulbs unscrewed when I was home for the summer. Guests like dim rooms and will unscrew the bulbs, kinda funny. The towels are actually Amazon brand, lesson learned. I hope the paper towels provided helped with your spills. The master reader lights get left on by guests and burn out in a day unfortunately, it's hard to keep up. We hope to see you again.

A little slice of heaven in Lincoln NE
There is a lot to love about this rental property. We particularly enjoyed the peaceful environment that included a nice fenced backyard located off a cozy back porch. The comfortable beds and great kitchen with amenities, will make you feel right at home. We would definitely stay here again when we visit Lincoln Nebraska.

We had a wonderful girls weekend here! There was a small problem with the August App for the front door but Aftin had amazing communication and we were able to check in as planned. The house has everything anyone would need! The hot tub was amazing and the backyard space was wonderful. Can't wait to stay again!

This is a very cute house in an older neighborhood just on the cusp of the city. Nice and quiet. The house is very nice. The sucking bedroom beds are probably better for younger children. The bathroom was very nice. It has a hot tub and looked nice. It was so cold outside when we were there it was never used. The only problem we had was with the smart lock system. It was inconsistent and I preferred the key.

The house is lovely and fairly updated, with lots of supplies in the kitchen so that it was easy to cook our own food! There were plenty of supplies in the bathrooms and extra blankets and sheets. The hot tub was clean and great to use, and communication with the host was quick and easy. A great place to stay for a couple of days.

The property owner was incredibly responsive and easy to work with. We slept well. Great master bedroom mattress. So quiet at night! Super cute home. Our only suggestion is that y'all add hand towels to the bathroom. Otherwise, every need was well-thought-out and attended to.
