Peaceful and fun stay for family of 9

My family stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a lovely time. The house is very spacious with everyone feeling as though they had enough room. Kitchen was well appointed. Enjoyable and private hot tub. Lovely bathrooms. Game room was a nice treat. Neighborhood peaceful. Close to many activities to enjoy. Host very responsive and checked in proactively.

Excellent location. Setting in the mountains was beautiful. Our goal in booking a VRBO vs a hotel was the advantage of having a kitchen to cook meals. Unfortunately, the cookware was absolutely disgusting. If we had been told the pans were recently salvaged from the junkyard, we wouldn’t have been surprised. The basement had a very funky odor. It made us sad to think this beautiful home had not been better equipped/maintained. We were expecting a luxury home, but it felt like an unkept camp. It’s a beautiful home but needs some love and attention.
