"There are several things that caused the loss of a couple of stars:1) The ad needs to explain that both baths are upstairs. We had elderly relatives that have difficulty with so many stairs.2) We were not supposed to be charged until our 1st day of our reservation but we were charged when we made the reservation. 3) Front steps are soft wood that feel like they are about to crack.4) Keys were in a lock box. "The hotel was immaculate and the location next to the Haymarket district was perfection."

"Room was excellent! Hallways could use vacuuming more often. Entry way needed garbage cans emptied when full. One of the folks living there (seemed like a grandpa) seemed lazy and made excuses for cigarette buts all over the entry and general cleanliness around the entrance welcoming guests. We thought the pricing was good."

"Everything was new, clean, and easily accessible. The room was always a bit cool, possibly because of the high ceilings, which were at least very "cool" to look at. The one waste basket was hidden -- behind the toilet which was also in the corner. Small detail, but a cause of concern since we were piling up Kleenex and scrap paper by the tv until we finally saw it. Parking garage was across the street, but as an old rural person, I could have used more direction on how to do it.before I got there -- a print out would have helped."
