“The bathtub in our room tap was broken. You either had to have a burning hot water shower or a frigid cold which I did. My husband is a plumber and he couldn’t fix it for me, room 108. Don’t let anyone use the room until it’s fixed.”

“The suite is old, and so may not appeal to everyone. It doesn't have AC so could be a hot box in summer, but there are plenty of fans and lots of open windows. There is lovely, tiny balcony off the kitchen, facing the back garden. I stayed for just one evening and was quite comfortable. The place suited me perfectly. A must is to walk around the acre or so garden. Margaret is a lovely, friendly host. She recommended a decent restaurant just a couple of hundred metres away. I sampled the……

“The hotel is located by the lake in the centre of the town. Is the service attitude good, but its facilities are slightly better than those of a motel. I wonder why it is classified under IHG on the website.”
