"Basic comfortable room with a TV and plenty of space. The shower was a bit small and as a fairly tall man, I wasn't able to stand under it fully. About expected for ~£80 a night. "The only thing we didnt like was not having an elevator which was hard on my friend who has a bad knee but otherwise the staff was great, room was a good size and clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was average but acceptable. Love the location super convenient for everything but it can get loud at night since its near a square."

"Really loved this property! Super cool & trendy vintage theater themed rooms. Comfy beds & lovely shower, toiletries so I didn’t have to unpack to be ready for my flight in the morning. "It was fun to stay somewhere that was actually the home of a prince at one point. The doors were all so huge.. and windows. It was fun staying in a part of Lisbon History. Everyone there was very nice. This was my second time there and any time I return to Lisbon I will definitely stay there . The location is perfect with a small park right across the street... so make sure you get a park view. I am not sure what the back window views are.. although I do know the Botanical Gardens are there.....

"This apartment is not in the city center, but there is a metro station right outside; also a park across the street, grocery and other shopping both around the corner and a mall across the street. The hotel itself is quirky, the second floor of a residential building, so a bit of a challenge to find and figure out. Good, plentiful breakfast included."

"It is a lovely change from the modern hotel. It is a guest house so beyond the guest rooms the building is somewhat worn and tired looking. BUT the rooms appear to have been completely updated with new decorations, electronic keys and sound electrical supplies. The bathroom was very clean and very well appointed. It is my second stay in three years."

"Fantastic place to stay! Spacious character room…and a claw foot tub! Very pleasant and helpful staff. Perfect location to get to the sights, particularly the Quinta de Regaleira. Easy alk to many food and beverage places. On the edge of Historic Centro Sintra. Of note, there are several ‘Boutique Hotels’ in Sintra…clarify ‘Palacio’ and maybe show the address if take a tuk tuk. If you are remotely fit, it’s an easy walk (with rolling suitcase) from the train station. "
