A beautiful hotel with exceptional staff. The one very slight downside was the location which was a 20 ish minute walk from most central attractions - however that was no problem for us at all. Our room was very comfortable and quiet and I slept amazingly well - unusual for me in hotels. Everything was clean and high quality. The best thing was how friendly and helpful the staff were, everyone we dealt with was charming. The breakfast was also great every day. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel has an upbeat vibe. The rooms are calm and welcoming, the food delicious. What makes it EVEN more amazing are the Concierge staff. Incredible human!

We absolutely loved our stay there. Andre was SO helpful in helping to plan our day to maximize what we could see. The restaurant is very good and the staff is very friendly.

A lovely, hip hotel with a great restaurant. The service at the reception desk is outstanding. The complimentary breakfast is also outstanding. Our room was roomy and elegantly appointed. And the attached Infame restaurant is superb. Close to the hotel are a number of cool shops and fun restaurants. After three nights I left 1908 for a work-related, much more expensive hotel--a corporate place with no charm; I miss 1908 Hotel.

Hotel 1908 was outstanding. The manager, André, was especially nice and made our stay very enjoyable. He printed out a map for us when we needed directions and had a taxi waiting to take us to the airport upon our departure, always with a smile. Our stay included a lovely breakfast buffet and we also enjoyed our delicious dinner at the hotel’s restaurant. This is a small boutique hotel that is walkable to the downtown area and is a short taxi ride from both the cruise terminal and the airport. The hospitality we received was second to none. We recommend Hotel 1908 wholeheartedly and will definitely stay there again if we visit Lisbon again.

Friendly staff and comfortable accommodations - room, amenities, breakfast, etc. Neighborhood going through a bit of a transition which might be a turn off. Area immediately around hotel a bit noisy at night due to restaurants/bars although it didn't last through the night. Location very accessible to metro, tram and buses - also very possible to walk to downtown area. Overall, good experience!

Amazing staff in a great hotel.
From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel we knew we were in a very special place. Andre checked us in and he was like our own personal concierge for the duration of the trip. It’s easy to get lost in a big city, but Andre made sure we felt comfortable exploring. He really was outstanding and we are very grateful. Restaurants, transportation, entertainment Andre had his pulse on the city and he kindly shared his enthusiasm for Lisbon while making sure we enjoyed every moment. The hotel is unique, giving a notice to local artists. And the cocktails too were creative and soooo good. The patio/bar makes the best steak sandwiches. Make sure to give them a try. To top it all off the beds are super comfortable and the rooms are dark. We will return 100%.
