A very beautiful property in a GREAT location. Best of all, the BREAKFAST!!! Best Breakfast I have ever had in a hotel in all of my travels, and I travel plenty! I felt like royalty and the staff were so accommodating and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Small hotel but big on friendly service with great views of Lisbon and excellent cooked to order breakfast. Close to Avenida Metro as well as a short hike to the Bairro Alta neighbourhood where there are many restaurants and bars.

Nice hotel within walking distance to lots in Lisbon. Street parking is available, we were lucky enough to find a spot right out front. The rooms are on the older side, however everything is clean. They offered a great complimentary sit down breakfast.

Wonderful Stay

Very friendly & helpful staff. Our room ended up being a large suite. The bathroom was large & clean. Our only complaint was that the bed could have been more comfortable. Breakfast was good, too! I would recommend this little hotel to anyone. Not super plush or fancy,but perfect for us!

Little gem

We loved this little gem. The room was spacious; plenty of storage, plug sockets in convenient locations, comfortable sitting area and the included breakfast was delicious, served in a friendly way (remembered our breakfast drinks orders after day 1). It was immaculately clean. The tourist guidance offered by the front desk was helpful. I would stay here again, without thinking twice.

Love that it had breakfast included and free parking, the two reasons why I picked this hotel in the first place! Location was the best! Close to everything within walking distance. Service was top notch! Special thanks to both Joãos and Diogo. Also the ladies serving breakfast! Thank you for being so nice. Although an older hotel and some construction around it, I highly recommend Principe Real!

Once you understand that Lisbon is a hilly city and that this hotel is on a hill you can decide if it's good for you. We loved it because you get a real feel of Lisbon "life" staying here. It's in a residential neighbor hood; restaurants, shops, parks, transportation are very close by. The staff is great, the rooms are comfortable and the included breakfast is great and convenient. Very enjoyable

Two star hotel that has awarded itself four stars

Well there are four stars and four stars! Just because you stick a hair dryer in a closet doesn’t make it a four star hotel. Very worn and oldfashioned. In great need of repair. Too expensive for the condition and service. You could easily speak to your neighbour two doors down the hall without raising your voice.

Good location but pricey, given the facilities

If u like space to walk about, this hotels room is NOT for u ! Breakfast is 4 star as are the room prices for what is a 3-star hotel! Bathrooms are disproportionately large with the bedroom being small & tight, making movement for two awkward and irritating! Balconies are a great reprieve! A shining star is Joao, the night receptionist.

The photo that is shared for rooms and restaurant is totally different than the reality. The blankets were old and doesn't look clean. The door locks were old and unsafe. The bathroom was old. In general I didn't feel conformable and left the room without refund for the second night. However I should confuse that Expedia promise me to refund the money back to my account
