Residential Area!
This property was OK, but you CANNOT get there by personal or rental car. You MUST USE A TAXI. The locals in this area are hostile to anyone who does not live there if you bring a rental car. You will have to park at least a half mile away so use a taxi. Some of the rooms also had a musty smell, tolerable to some of us but not to all of us. Be ready to walk up and down many steep hills in Lisboa. Very beautiful city though.

Marginal property
We knew the property was funky from the pictures and accommodated our party of 8 adults. The problem with it was the dishwasher didn’t work; the air conditioning required certain rooms to be set at the identical temperature to operate (but we didn’t know which rooms were on the same compressor); there were NO instructions on how to operate the appliances (e.g. washer, dishwasher, a/c) or location of garbage cans for removal of garbage; there was one towel per person; there was minimal toilet paper for our party (8 adults); the toilet seat was broken in one bathroom; and a light bulb was out in a bathroom. When we reported all of this to management, they responded by email immediately, however except for fixing the toilet seat and telling us where to find the garbage cans, none of the other issues were resolved during our stay.

Interesting with challenges
Overall a good experience. 2 brs on floor 1; 3 brs on floor 2; 1 br on floor 3.........each with private baths so that was very nice. Lots of climbing up stairs as the kitchen, cloths washer, dining, gathering area is all on 3rd floor. Disappointed that there was no help in getting acquainted to area, no personal assistance or interaction. So you are on your own getting acquainted with living facilities and neighborhood. No brochures, no guidance, no recommendations for eating, etc. Place needed some maintaince -- missing rungs on stairs, coffee pot served 1 at a time, 1 clothes drying rack for 8 people, etc. Lots of climbing up and down narrow stairs. Location was good but you have to figure out everything for yourself. Lisbon is great but I thought the facility was pricy for what we got.
