My stay at the Turin Hotel was for three nights, and I was given an upgrade to a bigger room. I’m not sure what my original room was. However, the upgrade was close to the elevators facing the main Avenue in Lisbon. I did hear traffic in the early evening, but it quieted down at night. The elevators did not bother me. My room was a nice size, and it was clean, as was the bathroom. This hotel offered breakfast and a restaurant. The food was, in my opinion, rated four out of five. I would return to this hotel.

okay - well located - but that's about it
This is a well located hotel, however, it has a few issues: it is very dated; their is limited air conditioning (it's a seasonally set climate control situation) and the bed has a weird thick protector - which feels water proof but is not comfortable. The staff are generally friendly and helpful but there's only so much you can do in a hotel that is suffering a bit from wear and tear. The shower had very little pressure and a lot of the jets from the shower head were thick with limescale or had just plain broken off. When I stayed it was winter, though unseasonably warm, and I asked if the room could be cooled - and was told no it was limited. Thankfully there was an open window. I spent time trying to find an online manual for the thermostat - pointless effort. I would probably choose more carefully on my next trip to make sure what ever is booked is refundable and has proper air conditioning.

While it is a very nice hotel and has potential to be one of the hottest hotels in Lisbon, there are a lot of things they do which are inconvenient for their customers. I visited the first week of December where highs were about 15/16 degrees, so it was fairly nice though would be a bit cool at night. The heat was blasting and I could not turn on the AC and the only way to cool off was to open the window. Also only one elevator worked so I generally had to walk down the stairs (and once up). Also there were only two outlets in the entire room and none by the bed which was annoying. But besides that, everything else was nice. The staff were friendly, the room and premises was well-taken care of, breakfast was very good. Overall good but there were a few things that were very annoying which could be worked on.

The staff is very friendly, always willing to help. The rooms are very small though, if you have more than 1 big suitcase, you will have trouble moving around

Just unbelievable! The room was hot and the only “solution’ was to open the window onto one of the busiest streets in Lisbon -super noisy!! They have no air conditioning in the winter only heat! I asked for a fan, no. We had a morning flight so my choice was crazy noisy or hot room! I’ve never rated a property at zero before. I asked at checkout about an adjustment to my $200 euro bill and was basically told tough luck.

Pros-great location (within walking distance to many stores and restaurants), taxi rank outside hotel, hotel has lovely interiors and rooms are of a good size Cons-it is very often the small things that you notice in terms of negatives. Throughout the 5 night stay, various front desk staff struggled to consistently achieve the basics. In spite of requests by myself and other family members, rooms were left with no tissues, no coffees/milks and no room sign to notify that room cleaning was wanted. The staff on the front desk were largely sullen and unfriendly when approached and these problems were flagged. The standard of cleaning in the rooms was passable but nothing more (see comments above)

Awesome hotel
Absolutely beautiful just like I expected it to be. With in 10-15 minutes walk to most of the famous sights in Lisbon, there was a market on the weekend a minute walk from the hotel. Restaurants, cafe and bars are everywhere and this beautiful hotel is located on a safe and beautiful part of town. The staff were so professional and very friendly. I will be back and certainly recommend this place anyone ❤️🙏

My worst Lisbon experience!
My first and last time at this hotel, I am a frequent visitor to Lisbon and thinking that this hotel is in Liberade that it must be good, very wrong!The hotel is outdated, the toilet has a musky smell, and to make it worse, the internet was down for 2 days, they had no customer service or even any type of compensation as I could not do my work for 2 day, just a " sorry", not even offer a cup of coffee as a good will gesture. The hotel doesn't even have a concierge desk to help with luggage and they call it a 4 star! Staff was aloof and very unlike the friendliness that I am used to, and to top it up, the housekeeping threw out my water bottle without my permission. I will not be staying in any Truim hotels again!
