Fabulous Experience in Lisbon

The hotel has a perfect location, very convenient to access to all the shopping and dining areas. The hotel may not easy to find for the first time as the front door is not obvious, but you will love its location afterwards. Beware that the surrounding would be quiet after 8pm and homeless people may be found near the church. It is just 5-mins walk to Baixa-Chiado Metro Station and also close to the Elevator de Santa Justa and other must-visit spots. Staff are very helpful and informative. Hotel is modern and clean. Room is spacious and with a large bathroom. Just one drawback that the hotel is reformed from an old building that the lift is stopped on every other single floor i.e. 1st, 3rd and 5th floor, just in case if u stay on the 2nd floor, you need to walk downstairs.

The front desk guys were very friendly and helpful offering great suggestions. (Weekend girl not so much). The room was clean and comfortable. Location is the main attraction- close to everything! I would definitely recommend. One downside is they may wish to update their website….it says that coffee/tea/water and Portuguese fruit and pastries available 24/7. Not true - only available at breakfast.

The location is good in Baixa district of Lisbon where many of the city's hotels, restaurants shopping and tourist attractions are. The staff are pleasant and helpful. One drawback is odours from the plumbing.

Pros: Great location - walking distance to metro, restaurants, & Praca do Comercio. The room & bathroom are big and clean. Cons: Elevator stinks & the floor is dirty. Had to walk up a short flight of stairs to my room. The carpet on stairs is dirty. Reception staff (female & male with nose piercing) are not friendly. The breakfast is terrible, food is literally rationed. Not worth it even though it's free.

Parfait au centre-ville, près de tout, à distance de marché ou du métro pour visite éloigné. Vieux building historique , bien entretenu, sauf l’odeur dans l’ascenseur. Le petit déjeuné inclut est correct, sans plus.

Alles in allem sind wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Betten und Kissen sind sehr bequem. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist nicht sonderlich groß, hält aber alles bereit, das man braucht. Das Zimmer hat uns gut gefallen, allerdings war die Dusche sehr verschimmelt und hatte viele schwarze Flecken.

Die Unterkunft ist leider ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und nicht wirklich sauber. Im Zimmer lag überall Staub, vor allem auf den Möbeln und in den Ecken. Die Armaturen im Bad waren kaputt und sind auseinandergefallen, wenn man das Wasser aufdrehen wollte. Wasser war voller Ablagerungen. Aus der Dusche kam man dreckiger raus, wie man reingegangen ist. Das Haus ist extrem hellhörig – man konnte sogar hören, wenn im Nachbarzimmer die Vorhänge zugezogen wurden. Auch die Dusche hat ständig getropft, sobald im Nebenzimmer jemand geduscht hat. Direkt gegenüber war eine Baustelle, und nebenan fährt die Straßenbahn – der Lärm war die ganze Nacht über sehr störend. Insgesamt leider keine Unterkunft, in der man sich wohlfühlen kann, weshalb wir früher abgereist sind.
