Fabulous Experience in Lisbon

The hotel has a perfect location, very convenient to access to all the shopping and dining areas. The hotel may not easy to find for the first time as the front door is not obvious, but you will love its location afterwards. Beware that the surrounding would be quiet after 8pm and homeless people may be found near the church. It is just 5-mins walk to Baixa-Chiado Metro Station and also close to the Elevator de Santa Justa and other must-visit spots. Staff are very helpful and informative. Hotel is modern and clean. Room is spacious and with a large bathroom. Just one drawback that the hotel is reformed from an old building that the lift is stopped on every other single floor i.e. 1st, 3rd and 5th floor, just in case if u stay on the 2nd floor, you need to walk downstairs.

What a quaint hotel in a great area! We were greeted by such a warm and welcoming gentleman (I didn’t get his name) who took the time to ensure we were satisfied and all our questions were answered. The breakfast was a basic start for our day and hit the spot. The room was larger than expected. This was a very affordable room at a good price, I would recommend.

Leider kann ich die Bewertung des Hotels nicht ganz nachvollziehen. Ein großer Pluspunkt war die wirklich exzellente Lage, in welcher man fast alles fußläufig erreichen konnte. Auch das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren zwar geräumig und die Bettwäsche sehr bequem, allerdings war das Zimmer schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und wäre wirklich renovierungsbedürftig. Wir haben uns im Fußboden einmal den Socken aufgerissen, weil Nägel oder Splitter herausstehen. Insbesondere die Dusche gehört dringend erneuert und vielleicht zwischendurch auch einmal tiefengereinigt (mit Bleaching der Fugen usw). Am schlimmsten war jedoch der Gestank im Zimmer nach Kanalisation. Wir haben uns mehrfach beschwert und nach einem anderen Zimmer gefragt. Leider ohne Erfolg. Man hat uns dann ein Raumspray besorgt. Man benötigt auch einen guten Schlaf, da das Zimmer unglaublich hellhörig ist. Dass direkt vor der Hoteltüre eine große Baustelle ist, hat uns nicht allzusehr gestört, da wir zum einen den ganzen Tag über unterwegs waren, zum anderen war es am Wochenende ruhiger. Unter der Woche beginnt der Lärm jedoch schon echt früh. Für die Menschen, die ausschlafen möchten vielleicht nicht so ideal. Für unsere Zwecke war es einigermaßen okay, nochmal buchen würde ich hier aber nicht.

The room on the 5th floor (top floor) was very large with a good amount of drawers and hanging space for our clothes. Shower was great. The staff (reception/cleaning) were very welcoming and delivered our luggage to our room. Price to service, room and location was reasonable and a good choice for our 4 days in Lisbon. The hotel elevator goes to a split level (access to floors 3 and 4/5). Our room on floor 5 required us to take the stairs from the split to floors 4 and 5 (about 15 stairs in total). If you have any mobility issues this could be difficult. Location for shopping and restuarants were also very close. Great breakfast on the corner and close to the elevators that take you to the castle, catherdral and a great grocery store. We would stay at this hotel again.

Stay one night in Lisbon, could not located the hotel since its hideaway in a cross-street. Area seems to be shady with transients near the hotel. Good thing it’s right in the central dining area. Multiple food options. Paid more to stay at this hotel since many of Lisbon options had share bathroom. This hotel had a private bathroom. So if you need a private bathroom this would be the cheaper option for 122 usd a night.

The front desk guys were very friendly and helpful offering great suggestions. (Weekend girl not so much). The room was clean and comfortable. Location is the main attraction- close to everything! I would definitely recommend. One downside is they may wish to update their website….it says that coffee/tea/water and Portuguese fruit and pastries available 24/7. Not true - only available at breakfast.

The location is good in Baixa district of Lisbon where many of the city's hotels, restaurants shopping and tourist attractions are. The staff are pleasant and helpful. One drawback is odours from the plumbing.
