What an oasis Hotel Valverde is! Welcoming front desk, beautiful garden dining with friendly wait staff, and tasty food. The location is perfect. Step outside and walk right or left to experience the delights of Lisbon. Our room was comfortable and calming. And if you require anything, the staff will go all out for you with smiling faces. Thank you for a very memorable stay!

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights and I have never experienced such amazing customer service, 24/7, from everyone. It really was remarkable. When we couldn’t figure out the lights one morning, I called and they were there in minutes! One early morning we stepped out and it was raining a bit and one of the guys ran after us and brought us an umbrella! The location was great for us to get around to most places by foot. Easy to taxi/uber anywhere else! One last thing- the bed was amazing! Super comfortable.

Wonderful hotel, centrally positioned on a beautiful avenue of expensive shops. Very well positioned for visiting all the sights of Lisbon. Room very comfortable and food at breakfast and in the restaurant is excellent. Lovely areas to sit out and enjoy a peaceful drink. All the staff were extremely helpful and very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again!

The staff were all tremendous. From management (Christelle) to the restaurant team (Madeleina, Regina, and others), to concierge and door staff (shout out Fernando), everyone was helpful, warm, and charming. Absolutely would recommend.

Beautiful spot, super chic.

Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Boutique, quiet, stylish. Staff was amazing and our room was beautiful. Loved the balcony, abiity to bring in fresh air, and it was a great size for us 2. We had drinks in the front living room both nights, and really enjoyed the whole space the hotel offers. My only (small) complaint was it was raining a lot for our trip, and the balcony is designed such that the rain can make a decent amount of noise (when sleeping!). But it doesn't rain much in Lisbon - so we were just the unlucky ones to get a rain streak! Def would recommend the hotel again!

The hotel was really charming with the great energy. But what really makes it great is the staff it was mind blowing how nice is the staff are. Everyone from the front desk to bartender were grate. Our concierge Ruben what an intelligent young man. Sorry I can’t mention everybody’s name because simply don’t remember but many thanks to everyone. I think they work so hard that try made the hotel special

Absolutely loved this boutique hotel. From the moment you walk in, the scent is amazing. The staff is wonderfully attentive and responsive. The rooms are very cozy. The bed linens are luxurious. The bathroom and shower so great and the towels are on a warmer! Morning breakfast was delicious with wonderful small pastries and a choice of eggs, pancakes, etc. - all wonderful small bites. We had dinner here one night, too which was excellent. The hotel’s location on the main avenue is great, too. I love using Fodor’s for recommendations when I travel which is where I got the hotel. Excellent recommendation!

Having stayed at many relais chateux hotels, this was in some ways disappointing. The hotel was lovely and the room excellent. There were a number of stairs with no hand rail which was awkward, due to my mobility issues. The breakfast service was really poor, very slow and limited options like other relais hotels. The pool service didnt work, so you had to go down in the lift to the bar and order which was also very slow. Location ia good and the pool was lovely ( even though it wasnt cleaned and not enough towels).

Hotel Valverde

The hotel was excellent. Location was very convenient. You could easily walk to most locations in downtown Lisbon or take the metro which was basically across the street from the hotel and that would get you to a number of places easily. It was far if you wanted to visit Belem but it was easy to either get an Uber or have the hotel arrange for a taxi. The service at the hotel was excellent. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was clean and I thought we had a good amount of space for a room in a city hotel. My only negative was the breakfast buffet. The service was great and the food was very good, there just wasn’t a large variety of things except for the pastries. But we were still happy with what we had at the buffet. I would absolutely stay here again if I return to Lisbon.

Stylish, centrally located hotel with helpful staff. The only negative was the restaurant, which, unusually for a Relais and Chateau property, wasn't good. The food was heavy and tasteless, and the music was so loud it was hard to hold a conversation. Breakfast, however, was fine.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by a wonderful staff. They were just great!! They arranged transportation for us as needed. The breakfast was wonderful in the mornings with again very nice staff! Would definitely recommend as a great place to stay. It is situated on the main avenue which made it a central location for walking to most things and obviously every store you could imagine if you like to shop.
