Everything was very solid but was expecting more based off the photos. The room was clean but outdated. The photos make it seem nicer than it is, but overall was a good stay for a night.

They say you get what you pay for, and at this price, I consider our stay very high value. The property had some areas that were obviously aged and/or was in the progress of renovation. But it was largely clean, usable, and comfortable. The booking process and check in was super smooth and quick. Staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was at a bare minimum but hey we enjoyed every bite, and if there was any spill or shortage of muffins, there was staff to clean things up or restock immediately - much appreciate them! The walls weren’t sound proof but we barely heard noises - so we appreciated our neighbours. All the amenities in the room were functional: fridge was cold, microwave worked, shower was nice and hot. What else would we ask for? Maid service was nice and clean. I did notice some towels had old stains, but they were clean. The room was spacious for our family of four. We enjoyed our stay overall.

I have noticed mosquitoes inside the room. At first me and my brother, ignored it but the following morning, we suffered some bites - me around my arms, and my brother at his nape like a lump.

We had a good stay overall. The hotel itself could have been cleaner, but our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location was very convenient for visiting New York, especially for the price. The bus stop is right next to the hotel, and we were able to take the bus to Manhattan easily, which was a big plus. The breakfast was okay and had everything we needed. However, I didn’t like the behavior of the lady in charge of breakfast. She was constantly watching how much food and drinks guests were taking and came across as rude, which made the breakfast experience less pleasant. What I liked most about the hotel was the reasonable price, convenient location, and comfortable rooms. Overall, it was a good option for visiting New York on a budget.
