"The home was perfect for our mini UP getaway. The addition / main bedroom was where my husband and I spent most of our time hanging out. It also smelled fresh and nice like new wood. The rest of the house was quite musty smelling, which is to be expected with an older seasonal cabin, but it should be noted because some folks with allergies may experience a reaction (our kiddo did). "The house was just the right size for us and our pets. Plenty of property to exercise the dogs. The interior and furniture were up to date & the master bed was comfortable. The washer & dryer was a great bonus. The place could have a little more space for personal belongings & a pantry for dry food but overall everything was well stocked (dishes, pots, pans, utensils) and everything was in excellent condition & working order. We would not hesitate to stay here again."

"Nice little house...good location east of Pictured Rocks. Really private backyard with woods and fire pit was a nice bonus. But not too far that you feel like your out in the sticks, since Grand Marais is a short drive down the hill. The house has everything we needed. Kitchen is well stocked with all tools. "This little cabin was fantastic, even for just a couple. Every detail was perfect. Anything one could need was right there in the cabin- making things so easy and stress free. The lake was beautiful, from sunrise to sunset. It was so nice to be truely alone, like stepping back in time. We relaxed, read books, had bonfires, star gazed, and BBQed! It was really such a perfect family place- we felt guilty leaving the kids with grandma for our anniversary trip. We will be back and will be bringing...

We were only there in the evenings we had campfire each night and at one one night the manager called to let us know that the northern lights were hitting and we jumped in the car, went about a mile away, and got fabulous pictures of the northern lights overall it was perfect. It was right in the middle of where we wanted to go. Rock hounding, and waterfall chasing. We would do it again."
