"Our family enjoyed our one night stay at The Mountain Inn, including our 7 year old kid and our dog. It was nice to find a hotel that was very welcoming to dogs and only charged $35 per night for him, staff were friendly, and we loved swimming outside in the 95 degree heated pool while the temp outside was near freezing, it was amazing. The room was clean and recently renovated, and the grounds and restaurant were on par with what we expected. The restaurant had live music Saturday night and the old fashioned I had with their house made bourbon from their distillery was delicious, while the burger, salad, and Bavarian pretzels were pretty good, and the cheese pizza was not so good but the kid liked it. We enjoyed the view of the nearby mountains, foliage, and short drive over to Thundering Brook Falls. The continental breakfast was included and could have been better, and had we stayed a few more days we would have explored more of the food and shops in the area, as it seems like there were a few. We could probably suggest some upgrades to the game room but we had fun in there regardless. Overall, we liked our stay at The Mountain Inn and found that it met our expectations for the value, and the welcoming staff, heated pool, and accommodations could have my family going back in the future."

"My only concern is that the water quality here doesn’t seem to be very good. After boiling, there’s sediment left at the bottom of the kettle, the water tastes salty, and the water feels kind of rough on my skin when I shower."

"Snowed Inn was absolutely amazing. It was peaceful. The breakfast was delicious. The young lady that checked us in was so helpful. We ate at Charity's for supper. It was good. The fireplace, warm cookies, and coffee was cozy. We would definitely go back here if we are ever in this area again."

"The room itself was a nice space and we were comfortable there. The check-in process was easy as well. But the resort itself felt a little deserted and run-down. The pool and hot tub didn't seem very nice, and there's not really a good parking area for the resort, so you have to carry your stuff a ways to get it to your room. But as far as the room goes we were happy with it! Just not really with the atmosphere of the resort."
