Unique cottage in a convenient location

What's good: - location is really convenient - games for the kids What you should understand before you book: - there's no dishwasher. So, if you plan to eat at the rental, be prepared to hand wash dishes - the main living area (including the kitchen) is up the spiral staircase. - the kitchen is very small and minimally equipped. - there is a grill at the rental, but we couldn't get it to work. To be fair, the listing doesn't advertise a grill.

Cute little cabin in the woods

We were surprised how deep in the woods the cabin was (coming past sunset definitely didn't help) but also felt very quickly comfortable in the house. The home also came with an outdoor turkey-alarm clock (we called him Jeremy). The kitchen is well equipped so if you plan to stay longer we'd recommend to take some food there. Other extras are the trampoline, foosball (needs some oiling) and view of the deer.

cozy little cottage w/ EV charging

we had a great time at this cozy little quiet cottage. it is deep in the woods. Everything was nice and clean. The kids played foosball for the first time at this cottage. The EV charging station was perfect. I had an plug convertor adaptor, so being able to plug my tesla for overnight charging is a blessing. The hike down to the river is very steep, but a nice workout in the shaded forest. we bought our own inflatable kayak, but we launched it at Big River beach instead because of the hike is too steep to bring the kayak down. The kids had fun building a fire with the fire pit on the deck. The trampoline and swing were great to keep the kids away from screen time. We are a family of 5, but there are enough beddings for more, although it would be very cramped to have more than 4 adults. Hot water ran out after 2 showers, so space out your shower time.
