Petkovšek Rooms and Apartments

Petkovšek accommodation is located just a stone's throw from the Prešeren's monument. The rooms are brand new. Comfortable beds and modern decor take you to complete relaxation. Experience peace and tranquility in our inner garden, which is the perfect contrast to the lively happenings on the street. We will be very happy to welcome any guest.

Petkovšek's embankment is a lively street full of bars and restaurants, close to three sights not to be missed. In the immediate vicinity are the Three Bridges, the Dragon Bridge, the Ljubljana Market, Plečnik's Arcades, the Prešeren's Monument. You can take the funicular up to Ljubljana Castle, where you will be enchanted by the view of the whole of Ljubljana.

We loved the location and the apartment.

The only trouble we had was finding it. As Americans who don't live in an urban environment, we are not quite used to the "pedestrian only" street situation. Not to mention that we were 'wowed' by what all we were seeing as we drove in. When checking in, it was very helpful that the bar Petkovsek is represented in the photos on the VRBO site, that is how we found it. That is where you check in after hours. The apartment is above the bar and has a wonderful courtyard. the views from the apartment are stunning. And, we were able to leave the windows open and hear the laughter and fun happening on the street below(after we had exhausted ourselves walking around the city). This is a wonderful place to stay, we had all that we could have asked for. It was perfect for my husband and 3 of our adult children. I would have to say that the apartment is child friendly as well. Maybe not so handicap friendly, but there may be options that we didn't request because we did not need them. High quality, super-equipped, modern apartment with AC, dishwasher, and washing machine in extremely charming heritage house at perfect location. Comfortable beds, flawless communication with host. We loved it.
