We stayed in Llanwrst for a few nights and on our last morning just after we loaded up the car the sky was being lit up by the rising sun - our first encounter of the bridge was meeting another car midway and it having to back down as it is only wide enough for one vehicle - I think this bridge causes a few problems at busy times. There is also a delightful tearoom which is situated in the adorable cottage you can see called Sunrise colour over Tu Hwnt Ir Bont and they do just the best scones! This is a delightful place to stay for a break in beautiful Snowdonia just a few miles away from Betws-y-Coed. #Instone #snowdonia

“Husband and I have just stayed here for a week with our big puppy and can honestly say the place is so beautiful, Jo and her husband have done a fantastic job with the pod and making it so homely inside. The pod had everything available from bed linen, towels, tea towels, cooking equipment, utensils, toaster, microwave , iron, ironing board, hair dryer, books, log burning fire and more. “This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). "Location is perfect, facing the sea and we need only 1 minute to walk to the beach. I visited in mid-May, when the hotel was undergoing maintenance which was unexpected and left me certain disappointments. However, the rest experiences were in contrast and exceeded my normal expectation to a hotel. It did great in 3 very important basic things of a hotel, which are strong and hot shower, comfortable bed and pillow, and strong hair dryer (all were even better than most 5 stars hotels I have visited). Services also excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially the waiter of the restaurant who was enthusiastic and sincere. Restaurant food was great and price was reasonably low. Carpet of the room was a bit old which was the only thing I did mind a bit. Will definitely visit again."
