A lovely hotel

It was lovely we were upgraded from 2 rooms to a 3 bed with bathroom. It was very hot but each room had a fan. The people were so friendly and lovely. The food was lovely with 10% off dinner - fab!! The car had to be parked in the local parking 5 min walk quite cheap. Fine. I definitely recommend. We stayed one night.

The property is sweet and quaint … something I couldn’t say about the service at breakfast, nor the service in the adjacent restaurant at dinner: They were obviously in a bad mood and made no qualms about it….

Ich hatte versucht beim Hotel ein zimmer zu Buchen stattdessen wurden wir in ein nahegelegenes Apartment untergebracht in den Fotos wird 3 Sterne geworben aber davon hatten wir nichts mitbekommen da wir in ein anderes Gebäude gehen mussten. Beim frühstück musste man dann extra noch hinlaufen. Für Gastarbeiter Aufenthalt ist das okay aber für eine 3 köpfige Familie Reinfall

Chambre familiale très très grande… le top

Passé 1 nuit en arrivant à 22:00 (même possible de manger), nous avions une chambre pour 5 en fait il s’agit d’un appartement (70 m2) avec terrasse se trouvant en face de l’hôtel au milieu de la rue piétonne de Locarno. Bon petit déjeuner. Chargeur voiture électrique à 150 m sur la piazza respini. Bref une bonne adresse.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig, einfach, sauber. Ein Fenster auf einen Lichthof, das andere mit einem kleinen Ausschnitt auf die Bergseite und auf eine Terasse direkt vor dem Fenster. Leider war auf dieser Terasse Abfall, dazu lagen einige Grapefruits herum - seltsam.... Der Service im Restaurant war gut.

Sehr Zentral

Das Hotel ist sehr Zentral. Wir haben nicht im Hotel sondern im Gebäude Nebendran übernachtet. Die Zimmer waren gross und Sauber, die Einrichtung aber sehr alt. Das Frühstück war OK, nichts besonderes aber auch nicht schlecht!

Leider war das ganze Gebäude eine Baustelle. Auch sehr ringhörig. Wir waren im Gebäude vis-á-vis von dem eigentlichen Hotel. mussten jeweils bei starkem regen zum Frühstück.

Einmal und nie wieder

Die Vorfreude war gross, die Enttäuschung war grösser. Wir wurden in einem schäbigen, alten Mehrfamilienblock untergebracht (nicht im Hotel), das Zimmer war zwar sauber, aber entsprach dem gezeigten Bild bei weitem nicht. Es war alles sehr alt und billig. Die Bettdecke war viel zu dünn, das Bett viel zu hart. Alles machte einen sehr lieblosen und billigen Eindruck. Das Essen im Restaurant war versalzen, statt der Weinkarte haben wir einfach ein Glas Wein erhalten (keine Ahnung was für ein Wein das war). Der Kellner war desinteressiert. Die leeren Teller wurden sehr lange nicht abgeräumt (erst als wir die Rechnung verlangten. Alles in Allem war unser Aufenthalt im Hotel Dell Angelo eine Enttäuschung und wir werden dieses Hotel bestimmt nicht wieder buchen!
