Pictures of this place online are far from reality. The placed looked like drug addict heaven and even had couches outside on the patio to support them. The rooms are very outdated with old mattresses/box springs that make so much noise it’s hard to stay asleep. We stayed 1 night and left early our 2nd night because we found roaches crawling over the bed my son was laying in. The owner refused to give us a full and/or partial refund. Luckily, the Best Western down the street accommodated us said this isn’t the first time it’s happened. Please think twice before staying here, spend the extra money and go elsewhere.

The staff, location, room were very good, but the place needs some remodeling definitely. Just a few cosmetic things will make this place excellent such as better plumbing and drywall repairs. The rooms could also use an eating table for takeout eating purposes. Eating patio area is cute, but not convenient. The grounds and parking need some work too. We loved the manner in which the rooms are spread out in clusters. This makes it for a much quieter experience. One of the best stays in Lockhart. Thanks!

The pictures shown are not real it is nasty moldy and there are spider webs everywhere it is just over all raggedy. It’s hard to breathe with all of the mold it’s dirty huge gaps on the front door dirty inside like someone was kicking their way out. Rusted and moldy all in the bathrooms the towels look crusty it’s just over all horrible never have we experienced anything this BAD!!

The location was good. The man at the desk was nice and informative. The bed was as hard as a rock, and the pillow was the worst, full of hard lumps. I couldn't sleep , bad terrible pain in my neck and sciatica. I felt fine when I went to bed. Had to go all the way to the front desk and ask for ice, they gave you a tiny little bag. No shelves to put soap on in the shower, and not a single rod anywhere to hold onto, and the shower was slippery. There is a dark area on the wall beside the toilet, needs attention or could mold.

Beware when an ad says BUDGET friendly. This place needs some extra tender loving care. Upon checking in the room was not clean. The cleaning lady asked to give her 10 minutes to clean. We were given only 2 towels, 1 hand towel and 2 wash cloths for 3 people! The baseboards were dirty from what I believe is from mopping with a dirty mop, the walls were dirty with food, handprints, etc. Stained chair cushion, filthy door on the inside and door needs weather stipping, dusty window sill, microwave is un-usable due to exposed metal inside, no cups to use coffee maker, cracked sink, interior wall in bathroom area in very poor condition, dirty shower curtain. I give a 2 only because the air conditioning in the room was cold! which was much needed in 96 degree weather. The staff was friendly as well.

I’m so sorry I didn’t get to stay. I paid for one night non-smoking room one person being a woman. I was giving the last room in a unit of 10 units. It was dark. It was dreary. There was a forest. It was trees fallen over and he was scary. I actually drove home for the next five hours. Got home about 2 o’clock in the morning because I refuse to stay somewhere where I didn’t feel safe.
