Rapallo
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1 review)
"The apartment was very clean and very well equipped. There was all we needed. We traveled with our family - two teenager and a 4 year old and it was enough room for all of them. Rapallo is a very nice town and the apartment is situated perfectly for all the things you would want to see there. Unfortunately there is no parking space to the apartment and because of the closeness to the pedestrian zone it is quite noisy late at night and early in the mornings. Otherwise a perfect stay for a late...

"This is such a cute and eclectic place, and so close to the city you can walk anywhere from here. There was some construction work at the time we were there which was noisy, but the shutters block out all of the noise. No AC, but actually very comfortable with the fans. The owner was very communicative as well, he was great!"

Hotel Laurin

Hotel Laurin

10/10 Excellent
"What started as a potentially difficult booking experience, primarily because of Expedia, turned into one of the most memorable hotel stays and trips we have ever had. Hotel Laurin is perfectly situated in the heart of Santa Margherita Ligure, with absolutely spectacular views and easy access to everything that makes this part of the Italian Riviera so special. The location truly could not be better. What really made our stay exceptional, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was professional, helpful, warm, and genuinely kind. There is a level of hospitality here that you simply cannot manufacture. By the end of our stay, we felt completely at home. We especially loved having drinks at the bar with Fredo, who made one of the best Sidecars I have ever had, and I have traveled quite a bit! The service by the pool was equally fabulous. Sitting there overlooking the water, being so well taken care of, was one of those experiences you simply do not want to end. The rooms themselves are not particularly large or overly luxurious, but honestly, that did not matter to us. The small balconies overlooking one of the most beautiful views on the Riviera are worth the stay alone. Waking up to that view every morning was incredible. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of the restaurants, shops, waterfront, and everything else we came to love about Santa Margherita. We visited Portofino and the surrounding areas, but we kept saying the same thing, we love Laurin!"
