Amazing property, recently renovated to a really high standard. Location is great, really quiet and peaceful with fantastic outside space. The owners and staff are really attentive and go the extra mile to made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely stay.

An absolutely wonderful place. Emanuel and his staff were friendly and helpful and provided exceptional service. The grounds were peaceful and beautiful and offered a perfect view of the town and surrounding country side. And the breakfasts were of the quality of a fine restaurant. A near perfect place, 5-stars!!!!

This property is the best I’ve stayed at in Italy. The staff and so kind and attentive. The grounds and the views are perfect It’s like imagine you booked your honeymoon and you wanted everything to be dreamy… that is what you get. Masseria Grofoleo is a traditional farmstead which the owner/proprietor has renovated and tastefully converted into eleven luxurious guest-rooms. It is located off a quiet county lane and surrounded by stone walls and olive groves, which combine to create a tranquil oasis. Guests are treated to a stunning view of Locorotondo, one the most charming hill-towns in Puglia. The service is impeccable. This is one of the most delightful establishments that my wife and I have ever stayed at.

This hotel was one of the best hotels we have stayed at anywhere in the world. The staff made us feel like one of the family. The location was excellent and it allowed us to visit all of southern Italy within a 30 to 90 min drive making it fantastic as base for touring. They provided us tips on what and when to see the sites. The included breakfast was excellent and served in a location with an incredible view of Locorotondo. Parking was included and safely in a gated lot on the property. The pool area was excellent to relax in the sun and have a dip to cool down. We would come to visit this area of Italy just for the opportunity to stay here once again. You can’t go wrong with the hotel and great staff. We plan on returning soon.

A unique and enchanting offering for those seeking a relaxing holiday in a luxurious rural setting. We enjoyed our two night stay immensely and look forward to returning. Beautiful property in a superb location. Very convenient to walk into Locorotondo for dinner in the evenings. Swimming pool and garden area with comfortable sunbeds. Breakfasts were fantastic and one day we had lunch which was delicious. Emanuel and his team could not have done more for us. I'd highly recommend Masseria Grofoleo.

I can't say enough positive about this amazing property. The idyllic setting in the countryside of Locorotondo was impressive. The beautiful village of Locorotondo was visible from the property, looked like a postcard! Parking here was easy (which isn't always the case in the surrounding area!) The pool was a wonderful respite after a day of exploring the area's towns. One night the owner prepared dinner for the guests and that was phenomenal! The owner, Emamuel, is such a treasure. He gave us lots of information about the area and his beautiful property. The staff was very attentive, bringing us whatever we needed at all times. Our room was lovely, being able to stay in a trulli was great! This would be an ideal place to stay as a home base to explore all of the towns and vineyards in the area. It truly was one of the most amazing places my husband and I have ever stayed and we are so thankful to have found it!

Delightful getaway

We have had a blissful 5 days here. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. It is within walking distance to Locorotondo, which means that you get the peace and tranquility of the hotel combined with the gentle bustle of the town.
