The natural beauty is good and intact . However the Villa was a bit run down . Breakfast spread was good . Several activities to do within the resort specially for children.
Absolutely amazed by the enormity, serenity, quality, cleanliness, lipsmacking food and variety of activities and accomodation. Will be back for sure.

Highly overpriced property with service standard not up to the mark.
complimentary breakfast was of pity bad quality.
Not recomended at 12k price.Same quality you can easily get in 4-6k range
The food options are limited and the breakfast room was messy. We were told that the breakfast ends at 10:30 but the guests were coming until 11:30 and more importantly there was no place for them to be seated.
Monsoon season, hence the location is excellent for a short trip.
I had changed the booking name, but they had it as a double booking, some confusion, but it was sorted out to my satisfaction.
A must go place near Mumbai....
It is not just hotel or rooms its quite more than that.. a gateway far from city.. which is quite, well maintained, secured and so many things to do inside you may not want to get out of it. Wave pool, swimming, boating, adventure sports and what not.. enjoyed the weekend

Over-priced for the experience.
Property is okay-ish. They have visible abandoned lots that are used as junkyards for abandoned rusted metal machines and other spare parts. The staff at the Namak restaurant tries to be nice but are negligent even during non-peak traffic, the food is very good though. The service at the middle-eastern restaurant is very good as is the food.
I was there for one night on 1st July 2017. When I reached at reception for check-in it was crowded and noisy. Guests were waiting in ques, there were only two check-in counters. After half an hour when my turn comes there was no reservation in my name. After a lot of houch-pouch, only one room has confirmed though I paid the full amount for two rooms. Ms Arora at reception was not in a mood to help me and she told me to talk to Expedia for the further room. Obviously, it took too much time and I checked-in at 03:00 PM. No need to say that Rooms, Food, Activities are too expensive. It will cost around Rs. 20000-25000 per head per night.
very bad worst holiday of my life. reception was very bad during check-in, no body to bother. room was not clean, mosquito's in the room. TV was not functioning, in-room fridge was not working, 90% of plug points were not functional. manager offered to shift our rooms but no one bothered to act. would not recommend even to my worst enemy.
Everything was perfect. A perfect family weekend. The only thing that was missed is the complimentary cake came at 11pm when my parents anniversary was almost over. It would have been great if the cake had made it in time.

The dinner is expensive
It's good place to stay, but very few places to eat and all of them are expensive
The Front Portion of the cottages were great. However, the other portions like Hermitage cottages etc. was very pathetic. The property has gone in run down condition and is very sad to see the damaged left overs.
We stayed at the Cabana. We had a tiny plunge pool facing the Lake, it was too good. They had a nice patio outside the room to sit on and also some beds outdoor where we could just lie down and relax. The weather was just ideal at this time of year. Drawbacks the 12 Cabana's are very close to each other and we could hear other guests talking, something I wouldnt expect from such a luxury hotel.
The Aussie Rooms are nice wooden chalets and have seating arrangement on the porch. Hardly any view though. Also no bathtub.
Aamby Valley per-se is a great place if you enjoy the clean air, cycling, jogging and water sports. A great place to unwind for a few days. Facilities are still under development though. The restaurants open only in the evening, only two for lunch. The clubhouse pool is large but water is not temperature controlled and the state of the changing room is abysmal. The pricing of the room as well as the restaurants are more than double of what they deserve. So not good value for money, but if you have money to blow and need to get away from the pollution and haste of city life, a good place to go to.
Absolutely not worth the price they charge. Hotel condition is not maintained. Everything was dirty. Even the linens were dirty. Besides this staff are friendly but do not provide full details about the services of the hotel. Everything in the hotel is charged. And expensive at that. Free wifi is just a scam. It's only free for 1 hour per day. Club facilities are also charged. So totally not worth the cost.
