Apartment didn’t really appear to look like the one advertised. Sofa was very uncomfortable and the bed wasn’t much better, however the bathroom was lovely and the place was spotless. It had everything you’d need for a trip away from home.
While the apartment itself was rather decent and nice, the service and the way the management company TheSqua.re handles customer communication is rather questionable. I had to wait almost 2 hours upon arrival in the evening (arriving around 8:00pm, so not too late in my eyes). I even had announced the time of my arrival because it is mentioned in their descriptions that after 8pm it will get critical, but then I needed to keep calling endless times until someone finally showed up 2 hours later to hand me the keys. Upon check out I then asked if it was possible to leave the apartment about 1-2 hours later due to the inconveniences during my arrival but they said that it was not possible and very rudely just sent an email, asking me if I would provide them with 5 star reviews on Google and Trustpilot I would earn 100 so called “Squ air miles“ - just about enough to be redeemed for the late check out after all. It was tempting since I was in town for business and needed those 2 hours to get sorted with some things but I truly believe that 5 star reviews should only be earned for good and professional customer service, so I decided to check out at the given time rather than faking a review! And I will certainly never book with TheSqau.re again!
The apartment was absolutely stunning. It was on the 23rd floor with great views, spotlessly clean, underfloor heating and very comfortable. The location is good and the price was excellent. Cannot fault it.
The managment company, Thesqua.re, changed location on me and called me many times while I am on roaming. The alternative location is much further away and there is no kind words of the change. They say they upgrade me to 2 bedrooms at the subpar location as a compensation but it is the only apartment they have anyways. I told them that the second bedroom is of no value to me but they insisted that it is their form of compensation to this last minute change of location. Here comes the best part, they need me to tell them the exact time of check in despite the fact that I was driving into London from 200 miles away on bed weather. They say if I do not tell them the exact time, then I will have to wait for hours as they have no one on site. What a nightnare to travellers! Not customer oriented at all!!!!! Then on day of check out, there is no luggage storage and I have to bring luggage everywhere as I have a night flight. They say if I am not out of apartment, then there would be a 90 british pounds charge. Horrible experience!!! DO NOT ever book a service apartment in London. This is totally opposite to Australia. On second thoughts, may be this original adaptment was never available and its location was used to entice fools like me.
