Two particular aspects are worthy of a guest’s appreciation: Firstly, the friendly and helpful staff notably the concierge gentleman Ilidio whose assistance to guests was most impressive. Secondly, the central and convenient location for a stay at the west end area. The breakfast was also very good especially serving a variety of freshly prepared omelets. St. Martins Lane Hotel certainly is recommendable.

The hotel location is excellent. Other than that this is not a 5 star hotel. There’s no doorman to greet you and bring in your bags immediately. The rooms are small and need a lot of updating. There’s no attention to service like a true 5 star hotel. We paid almost $1000/night for what I’d consider a 3 star hotel at best.

Our family of 4 traveling from US needed a room in London with 2 real beds(not one as a sleeper sofa) Hotels there call their rooms with just one bed a Double because of the size of the bed. So we needed a “Double Double”. They seem hard to find in London and this hotel has just 5, but theirs are absolutely perfect! The location is in the heart of where to be if you want to walk to most Must see tourist spots. There are tons of eating options fitting the diversity needs of a family right outside your door. It was great to walk to the many theaters just around the corner in any direction as well. The restaurant has an easy self serve breakfast too for quick mornings or sit down. The cleanings and turn downs were first class. The gym is exceptional and my whole family slept like babies in the very comfortable beds all night. The water pressure in showers was fantastic as well. It was more expensive than I normally spend but every penny worth it and would choose it hands down for our next visit. The St Martin London, made our week long London stay just perfect!

Property is in a fantastic location. What we did not like were the stains on our corner suite carpet; entering our suite and finding workmen fixing blinds we never complained about; and the location of the suite was one level up from the street, so it was very noisy. I expected more from such a highly rated, expensive hotel.

I arrived 4 hours before check in after an overnight from the USA. They very kindly allowed my granddaughter and I to check in early so we could rest. Each and every staff member could not have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and well-appointed. There was always someone at the front desk to assist with cabs or any other request we might have. After getting in the elevator, you had to have your room card to activate the elevator to get to your floor. Halls were well lit and quiet. I never saw housekeeping with large carts in the hall as is most common in other hotels. Linens were soft and comfortable. Plenty of fluffy pillows on the bed. Toiletries provided were very nice and high quality. Bathroom linens were thick and large. We never ate at the hotel, but the coffee shop had delicious drinks, sandwiches and pastries. The staff there was always friendly, courteous and eager to please. Spotlessly clean. I can’t recommend St Martins highly enough. If Itravel to London again, I will most definitely stay at St Martins!

Great location, we walked to most attractions. Restaurant on site was ok, I would skip that. Close to most landmarks and must see places by just walking. Lots of restaurants around, staff were great. Service was excellent. Room was big and shower was excellent with good water pressure. Highly recommend.
