"An excellent choice for an over night stay or a longer stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was better than the average hotel meal. Patricia, who managed the breakfast area was friendly, polite and made sure you were satisfied. The front desk personnel was very friendly and attentive to your needs. The rooms were clean and updated with plenty of lights and outlets for iPhone and laptop charging. The bathroom was very clean and updated with plenty of hot water and towels. Will definitely stay here when we return for family visits."

"This was our second time staying at Eagle’s Nest. We love it and will definitely come back! We are a family of 26 people spanning 3 generations and we get together for a week-long family reunion every year. We’ve stayed at many houses throughout NY, PA, WV, VA, and MD, and this is a favorite for sure! Rhonda and her groundskeeper helped us with everything that came up during our stay: locating more trash bags, getting the ice maker to work, and refilling the bathroom paper towel dispenser. We cook all of our meals so we love the kitchen in this house. Pros: The kitchen has multiple crock pots, big electric chafing dishes for serving/keeping food hot, a large pantry, lots of mixing bowls and strainers, and plenty of dish towels. Lots of outdoor amenities like the pond (we bring inflatable toys to float around on, it’s not ideal for swimming though), fishing, mini golf, hot tub, hiking, large fire pit with 8 Adirondack chairs around it. The amazing wrap-around porch. The upstairs bedrooms are very small and don’t have any closets. They do each have a small towel rod and two towel hooks now which was a welcomed addition since our last stay. There is a TV downstairs now as well. We bring our own Keurig and pods since there is only a large two-pot coffee maker. Two pointers are that the bunk beds downstairs are full-sized, not twin-sized like the listing says, and dogs are not allowed upstairs. We are looking forward to our next stay!"

"Perfect location to get away for several days! You can hear the creek from the front porch and see lightning bugs from the firepit. When not enjoying the outdoors, the cabin is very homey and comfy but we were outside by the creek, on the beach, by the firepit and enjoying the hot tub most of the stay. Likely the most well-appointed kitchen I have had at a rental, had every utensil, bakeware or pot/pan we needed and more! While we didn't require an accessible cabin, I can say it would have been relatively easy for someone with mobility issues to enjoy the property - from the entry ramp at the parking spot to a shower with no lip to enter with bench and hand-held shower head.Hosts were quick to respond and left nice touches for guests - coffee in the kitchen, toothbrushes with travel toothpaste in the bathroom. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others."
