“For our annual fishing trip we have stayed at this cabin for the past seven years. A beautiful cabin that is perfectly located to several lakes and close to town for everything you may need. The cabin itself is always clean and continues to be updated over the years. Jessica always has everything ready for us and all we need to do is just have fun.”

“Great location, near Ski Brule - 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. The house worked out well for me and my extended family. We rented the upper and lower units. It was very clean and had everything we needed to make meals. It was also nice to have two fridges. We would definitely stay here again!”

“Spent spring break here with our kids - 9 and 12 - and dog. Cabin was perfect - our kids didnt want to leave. Nice main room to eat and play games or lounge on the couches, then each had own room for down time. Easy drive to town for meals and just minutes from Ski Brule - we caught the last weekend. Great views of Stanley lake from the house. We would come back here every season of the year, it would be great to enjoy the lake too when its warm.”

“This house is so big but also so cozy feeling. There is so much space for kids to run and play while the adults relax. The house had everything you’d need, they even thought to leave extra toothbrushes and toothpaste (Perfect for my forgetful teen daughter) and a pack n play stored in the extra large mud room that greeted us after playing in the snow. Jay was so responsive and accommodating to our last minute schedule shift due to weather. This place proved itself to be perfect getaway for any……

“The stay was great. We had all the amenities required to support our family during our time at Ski Brule. I would highly recommend this location. I imagine during the summer months this would be a great get away as well. The only complaint I have is that the GPS pin in the app doesn't coincide with the actual address of the cabin, so I did have to call and confirm the address, so other than that it was wonderful.”

“My family had a wonderful time at Ron's log cabin. It is very much secluded and relaxing. We brought our 2 dogs and they loved it. We spent time fishing, kayaking, and hanging out on the beautiful porch. It was a great time!”

“We were very happy with our stay at the Nordic Haus. Check in and out was very easy. It’s nice to have a hot tub to soak in and gives the kids something to do at night because skiing closes by 4pm. The only thing was it says it’s 6 bedroom but it’s only 5 bedroom and then has two beds in the loft. The loft is basically part of the living room so we couldn’t have anyone sleep in those beds or they would be kept awake at night by the noise and then woke up early with any early risers making coffee……

“We had the best time in Fence - it reminded us of home with the quietness and friendly people. The property was clean and perfect size for our family of 4. We were lucky to have great weather and so much to do in the surrounding areas. We appreciated the games and snacks. It was nice to catch up with the owners who live next door and get their advice on roads to take etc. We had the best experience at The Fence Post too! Thanks for everything!”

The house is conveniently close to Ski Brule, where the kids had a wonderful time. It was the only ski resort in the midwest open this Christmas and we were happy to discover that it’s a great place to ski!”
