"Based on other reviews, I was concerned about the cleanliness of the place. It turned out I had nothing to worry about as our room #263 was fine. I had asked for a room on the 2nd floor away from the traffic and the front desk kindly complied. The only issue was I had wanted a print out of my receipt and I was told that I would have to get it from Hotels.com which was annoying (they eventually gave it to me). Breakfast was in another building and the food was alright (typical breakfast fare along with hot eggs and sausage). The hotel is right off the main road and within walking distance to Sarah’s Ice Cream stand and a plaza. The free trolley into town is right next store. Overall, the hotel fit my needs."

"The cottage is just as described, on a private, pretty cove with a lot of open space around it. Easy to access the Hendricks Head beach by car, also lovely just to relax on the property and watch the tide go in and out. Was also happy that I could bring my dogs along on my vacation."

"The North Star was the cutest most homey cabin! We enjoyed movie nights and cooking fun dinners while playing card games at the island in the kitchen! We made so many memories and the house was very well kept and cozy! I would 100% stay again! Thank you for letting us stay!"

"Beautiful, well stocked home. The view was amazing from the hot tub and patio, and I can't believe there were no mosquitoes. We had a great paddle with the provided kayaks as well!"

"Our time at Tide to Pines was wonderful. The home is newly furnished in lovely colors, kitchen well planned and easy access to town. What a beautiful view over lake! We appreciated good customer service and communication when we had problems with front door lock.Recommendations:The shower needs a 2nd grab bar, a shower mat in tub and the shower curtain should not be a tripping hazard (way too long)Highly recommend."
