「Lovely old coaching inn and nice rooms too. It was lovely sat out in the forecourt having a drink undercover. My evening meal in pub was very nice , bit expensive and limited menu but tasted great. Breakfast was lovely and the Manager who was very friendly and I believe from Australia -and her assistant -were very helpful even allowing me to have it early as I had a show to get too. This was above and beyond and means I will definitely come back, Thank you」

「Great hotel, was under renovation, but our room was excellent. The only downside was the younger adults who decided to have a party in the car park outside until 3 am in the morning! But the staff did their very best to move them on. It is a public car park for the bowling across the road. Generally, the restaurant in the hotel is better than that across the road. Quieter, and the food was very good. The pool was great for the children.」

「At check in I asked for walks in the area from the accommodation and the lady said she didn’t know. I would expect the customer services dept to be able to provide that information. I would also expect to be taken to the room rather than pointed in the right direction. Room good as expected for price - disappointing no mirror in bedroom and not good ventilation in bathroom.
