We came to Santa Monica for my 59th birthday. The staff was great, the location is only 8 blocks from the pier. Lots of shops, restaurants and the freeway. We had a Junior Suite and it was nice and large with high ceilings, corner unit, floor to ceiling windows on 2 walls and a balcony. The only down side is parking is valet only and u have to pay for it. But we were there 3 nights and thought it was worth the convenience and the safety of our rental car. The free breakfast each morning was great too... thanks for the wonderful stay!

The bathroom doors are absurd and offer little privacy. The bed was terrible. I don’t think they were actually queen sized, and they simply were not comfortable. They seemed really old, despite how new and clean the property was. One evening, there was a strong urine smell outside the front door. Surrounding neighborhood didn’t feel unsafe but was a little sketchy.
