Quaint old and beautifully maintained property and was in an excellent location close to lots of restaurants and bars and stores. Great room with a kitchen and large walk in closet. Highly recommend this hotel. Over 100 years old too with great air conditioning.

Really great old hotel that was full of charm. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Our cable box was missing the power cord so the cable didn't work and our door handle would fall off, but I would still stay here again, I really enjoyed it

Good location, 3 floor walk up - NO ELEVATOR, good sized rooms, with kitchenette. A/c worked like a charm in LA’s unusual 49 degree Celsius heat wave! Really good value for the price.

We never saw an employee during our stay, but since I have social anxiety I won't complain! Overall well worth the stay, hotel is in a cool part of long beach with lots of cool restaurants. Reasonably priced with a deal for parking as well.

We always love staying at Hotel Metropolitan. Its a chic little hotel from the 1920s with beautifully decorated rooms, kitchenettes, lovely views, and extremely comfortable beds. So comfortable in fact that we sat down for a minute enjoying our late checkout and woke up at exactly noon when we were supposed to be out! Luckily almost everything was packed but just beware, those beds are dangerously comfortable.

This is an old hotel and it not actually staffed all day long. The rooms are clean and have a little kitchenette. It is a great locations.
