The house was in an amazing location. It was a bit outdated but we lived the old school Cali vibe. There is no kitchen but there was a fridge and other forms of cooking. The accommodations were perfect. The main room was spacious and clean. This rental is connected to a main house. The walkout deck is on the first floor with the bedrooms and the main entrance is in the second floor where there is a huge family room and stunning views!!! We loved walking around the neighborhood and up the trails. No smoking allowed. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at your home.

Great Location

Paula communicated well and made check-in/out a breeze! Property is as described with a wonderful view. We brought our teenage boys to LA for a busy weekend. The beds were very comfortable after long days of sightseeing and fun.

Amazing experience

This was such a cool place to stay in such a great location. Everything was perfect. Paula responded quickly to every question I had. There is not a full kitchen but there is every thing you need to make a meal. We will definitely stay here again when coming to LA. Thank you for being such a wonderful hostess.

Magical Hollywood Hills Rock Star Hideaway

Loved it. Hosts were excellent. Quite a fantastic find and value. Amazing views. Beautiful, spacious, clean house close to all. Looking forward to going back- hopefully sometime soon!

Hollywood Hills Retreat

We loved staying here while visiting our kids. The house is beautiful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of LA but with easy access to Griffith Park, the Hollywood sign and all the tourist stuff. We were in great communication with the owner. The place was clean, the beds comfortable. We loved the view from the deck and the picture windows in the living room.

In town for Joni Mitchell concert at Hollywood Bowl

This was a trip of a lifetime - to see Joni Mitchell at the Hollywood Bowl- so we needed a great place to stay and we sure found one. It is exactly as depicted in photos. So, no surprises. Super clean and beautifully decorated by someone with an amazing green thumb. The plants are wonderful. The view of the Hollywood sign from the living room and the fantastic deck was spectacular . Paula was prompt in responding to me and super friendly. I’d only make a couple of suggestions: an extra blanket in each bedroom and bigger coffee mugs. We had the best time and would highly recommend this rental for anyone coming to Hollywood. The driving was best left to Uber as the roads are very windy.

Nice getaway but needs a little love

The shared property is nice and spacious. Slightly unique setup with the fridge on the deck and Jack n Jill bathroom to the two bedrooms. Shower spout needs replaced among other antique/original things in the house. It was clean and well kept. The location is up a windy steep hill with a good view. For a single couple with kids, this would be a great stay. Not ideal for two separate couples. Overall good value and nice area.

Breathtaking views from the deck!

If you want to get close to the Hollywood sign without having to hike for a good view, this is the place to stay. Our family of 4 adults enjoyed the very spacious deck with a spectacular view. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet. We loved the fact that the main dining area is outside. We ate our breakfast on the deck at a very large table. The main fridge is outside next to the table. If you read the description ahead of time, you can plan around the small kitchenette inside. Most foods can be prepared with their appliances. There is an air fryer/toaster and microwave, coffee maker, and more. Instead of pancakes, we made waffles with the waffle maker, as there is no stove top. But I suppose you could put a pan on the outside grill - pans are provided. The master bedroom king size bed was comfortable, and the 2 bathrooms were appreciated. The living room is spacious, although we spent most of our time on the deck. The one issue we had, but we made the best of it, was the 4th adult sleeping option...The 2 cushions provided for floor sleeping were designed more for kids than an adult, unless you are an adult that is able to sleep on anything. They were quite uncomfortable for an adult. The second bedroom was spacious, but there is a double bed only. So for 3 adults, the sleeping accommodations are great. The 4th adult would have to be a small tolerant adult in our opinion. If you can sweat some small stuff, the location and view totally outweighed it for us. Thumbs up!

Amazing view

Place is exactly as pictured. The inside is obviously a bit dated but that's part of the charm. It's large with lots of space and the view is why you would want to be staying here. Evertything was nice and clean. We spent most of our time on the deck and it was amazing. There's a large fridge and BBQ out there and a great place to hang out. It was nice and shady so even when it was super hot outside it was nice and comfortable on the deck. Host provided us with clear easy instructions and even though we had no issues she was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Birthday Weekend

Central location to everything we wanted to do in Los Angeles. Quiet neighborhood, amazing views. Clean and well kept. Would recommend to a couple looking to escape for a bit.

Hollywood Hills

My family and I stayed in this property for a few days as we visited LA. The host was perfect. Great communication. The pictures in the add were an exact match for reality. There were no surprises. The back deck was amazing. We had dinner out there a couple of nights. The gas grill was very clean and has a side burner. It would be nice if there was a bigger sink area to wash dishes but it is functional. Overall we were very happy.

Time stood still!

Classic Hollywood Hills home. Meticulously maintained and beautifully decorated. Perfect location, wonderful views, and great communication. We were transported back to the 1970’s in the classic home. The “Hollywood“ sign is at your fingertips. We highly recommend this home and hope to be back soon. Thank you!

Amazing place in the Hollywood hills!

We had a great stop off here in this lovely, quirky place nestled into the Hollywood hills. It had everything we needed and the view of the Hollywood sign was spectacular! The morning walks up into the hills from the house were fantastic and well worth doing as the views of LA are amazing from up there. Thoroughly enjoyed it, a stark contrast to the business of the city down below! Just to note, our satnav kept defaulting to the windiest route up the hills to get there but there’s actually a much more direct route 😂 Thank you for a great stay!

Beachwood home with MANA!!

Old Hollywood charm, fascinating decor, tons of space for our family to spread out, and the outdoor deck make this home an absolute gem!! Reviews are accurate, The Hollywood sign is CLOSER than it looks in the listing pics. We hiked directly from the home up to Hollywood sign hikes. We’re already looking forward to staying here again!!

Respiratory Distress and Windy Stressful Roadways

There were several things wrong with this place. The first and major problem was once we went into the place, there was a horrible smell which totally affected my asthma. The smell could be mold or mildew but it was not pleasant and my husband and son also had issues with it. The place caused tightness in my chest and my son who usually doesn’t have issues was having problems. We even bought plug in air fresheners and Lysol spray but this would somewhat mask it for a day or two. Then it would come back and sometimes it just made me sick to my stomach. I think if they replaced the carpet in the bedrooms and stairway to tile or waterproof laminate might help. The bathrooms did not smell. The next issue was the very windy and narrow roads. My husband is a very experienced driver but the people flying around the turns with no regard to anyone else caused allot of undue stress. Plus the people walking or driving up to the Hollywood sign was extensive. The third issue was the beds were not comfortable, even though other reviews stated they were. My husband and I have some back issues which are fine at home. The King in the master was very hard and caused his whole back to flare up. The Queen in the other bedroom was too soft and my son stated that he was getting sucked into the middle of it. The cleanliness of the place was debatable in some aspects. There were several cobwebs throughout the house. The heat bulbs were covered in dust. Also the lights were very dim
