Family vacation

We stayed here for a family vacation for 4 days. The pictures do not do the house justice! It was very spacious and beautiful. The owner was nice and responsive. Good location and nice pool. I definitely recommend this property.

Good stay

Stayed at this property for 6 days with 8 adults traveling back & forth to Hollywood, Beverly Hills & Inglewood daily. Traffic was not fun and depending on the time of day could take 20-55 minutes to Hollywood. Travel at night if possible Pros: Lots of space: even with 8 adults the space was wonderful. Very large living/dining area, back yard and big rooms. Driveway is large enough for 4-6 cars (one in front of the other, so plan ahead) House: no carpet! Laminated wood & I guess granite all throughout!! Loved that! Backyard: very spacious and tons of seating and lighting for hanging out. You can also smoke OUTSIDE...respectfully of course. Lots if big windows so you will get a ton of natural light shining daily. Especially in living/dining area, Master bedroom & kitchen. Neighborhood: quiet, walking distance to most, if not all stores, fast food, nail shops, dispensaries, etc. Air conditioning was wonderful! Host: On arrival was timely, personable & always available for questions and responded quickly when needed. Kitchen: well stocked with appliances (toaster, toaster oven, etc and a large fridge & stove Beds: comfy Tons of extra sheets, blankets, comforters, towels, and pillows Also, a washer & dryer Cons: Not really worth the price we paid, but hey we are all dealing with "COVID" prices. House: very outdated and could use some upkeep and alittle love...Stove was so old no one in our group knew how to operate it....we eventually figured it out. TVs have no cable or smart options like Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc. Come prepared with laptops & HDMI cables, etc. Bathrooms: 3 showers, 1 with HORRIBLE water pressure. And water is kind of hard to turn off in the Master bathroom shower. Bedding: seemed very old and maybe left over from the family that lived there. Would have appreciated newer Bedding (comforters) on all beds. Sheets seemed newer. Host was perfect upon arrival. However during the booking process seemed EXTREMELY cautious & unsure. Granted I booked, cancelled and ended up booking again because travel plans changed due to COVID restrictions. When trying to rebook, host informed me that the "owners" were skeptical due to my cancellation and due to a prior incident with a different group. I was asked a series of questions; Where are we traveling from? What are our professions? What are our ages? How many people would be staying the night? Would we be loud, all hours of the night? I thought I would have to give blood and fingerprints

Very nice owner and spacious rental home

Ms. Nasrin/owner was such a sweet lady. She's very accommodating and hospitable. The house is huge and beautiful and my kids enjoyed the pool😀. We would like to rent it again when we go back to California for a vacation. Thank you again Ms. Nasrin for letting us stay 🥰. Hope to see you soon in the near future.

Home away from home!

Area was beautiful; house was very huge and roomy....maybe homeowners could put in more bathroom supplies or check them because we ran out in one bathroom; the supply left wasn’t a full roll...we had to dust some of the counters and she did say that the house wasn’t rented due to covid but; we had to use most of the paper towel for dusting...other than this; we enjoyed the roomy house...

Big Nice House Mid Condition

I absolutely loved the property manager however, AC didn’t work the first 3 days One of the bathroom showers had broken glass in the shower which made only the toilet functional (which was not disclosed prior to booking) Master bedroom bed was broken in multiple places of the bed Pool looked dirty and not inviting Landscape was dry Overall the property was big and spacious and the property manager was amazing to work with but the property is definitely out-dated for the asking price per night. In addition it has a lot of potential but it was definitely not a pleasant experience. 5 stars to the property manager for her great communication and easy going attitude! 2 stars for the stay and property. Thanks to the property manager for being the highlight of my stay!

VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

My family and I didn't even spend one night here! The air conditioning was not working well and the bed rooms were too hot to sleep in. That was our major complaint. Considering all of the money we spent to rent this house, we were not even going to be able to rest in the hot bed rooms! There was only one TV for the entire family to watch in the kitchen area. One of the secondary bedrooms also had a small TV. The decor is very outdated and there were piles of trash on the curb outside. The pool was dirty and were told that it would be cleaned on Friday. Unfortunately, we were supposed to check out Saturday morning. To top it off, we were charged the entire rental fee for all three days even we only spent a few hours there. RIDICULOUS!!!!! While we have had many positive experiences with rentals before, this has definitely made my family leery of renting this kind of property again!

large house, good location, could use better upkeep

We had a group of 8 women stay for a weekend. The house is quite large and the property is also quite large. There is plenty of parking and although it was too cold for our group to enjoy the pool, the outdoor area seems quite nice. If you have small children, note that the pool is not fenced and there are many doors that lead to the backyard. The listing advertised a "hot tub", but there is no hot tub, just a jetted tub in the master bedroom. The location is very close to Ventura Blvd. with lots of shops and restaurants, but those staying in the master bedroom found the road/freeway noise made sleeping a little difficult. We found the neighborhood lovely for a morning walk. However, there is some maintenance that seems neglected. The drains are slow. The shower fixture in the front bedroom is very loose. Several towels were old/stained. The house overall was not as clean as others we have rented. The house feels as though it is occupied by a long term tenant, then vacated for short term tenants. The built in microwave is located in the garage and the step down from the kitchen to the garage is very high, and could be a hazard for someone who has any trouble with mobility. The transition from the main living area to the bedrooms is not level and could be a tripping hazard. One of the double ovens did not work. The weekend was very windy and the front door blew open several times. The kitchen would use additional glassware, silverware and sharp knives/cutting boards. The property manager, Nasrin, promptly responded to concerns.

Nice and comfortable house

The property was clean and have everything that we need. Although, the house has only 3 bedrooms, it is spacious enough for a big group. Nasrin was a very nice host. She showed us around initially and attended any problem or question we have. Too bad it was raining a lot and cold during our stay, it will be nice to hang out at the backyard with a nice pool. Will definitely come back. Thanks Nasrin.

Just what we needed

I stayed in this property with a national cycling team during a 2 week cycling training camp in Woodland Hills. The owner was cooperative from the early days of the booking. We were greeted upon arrival and we were provided a tour of the property detailing everything that we needed to know. The house had everything that we needed for the camp. Spacious living room areas, and more than comfortable rooms for the athletes to relax and recover in after the daily training. We decided not to ask the owner if anything could be done to fix it , but the wifi was not great in the house. We were still able to use it to reach home, for the athletes to maintain their school study load, and for myself to keep on top of work related matters. The neighborhood was also nice with all the facilities close by. I would definitely recommend the property for others. With its location to perfect training roads, and facilities nearby, it will be a perfect place to return to for future training camps.

Wonderful home for our holiday

Firstly, Nasrin was the perfect host and was a pleasure to work with. She met us at the property on our arrival from the UK and showed us around and made sure we were happy. The house, while being an older property, we found to be comfortable and very spacious for us and our two older sons (20 & 16 yrs). The pool and garden area were wonderful with fruit trees and scented shrubs and lots of space. As there is some uneven paving and various steps (no more than 3 up/down) and no pool fence, families with young children may need to be extra vigilant. I particularly loved watching the humming birds visiting the garden - we don't get these in the UK! Due to the age of the property you have to be sympathetic to some minor aspects but it was clean and very comfortable. The area was perfect for us with the things that we wanted to do and great that there was a good supermarket (Ralph's) and a Starbucks a block away and further on a Westfield for shopping days. We made use of the scenic route over Topanga Canyon to get to the coast (Pacific Coast Highway) near Malibu as the traffic on the 101 was often heavy. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood and the only time we heard any other residents was over the Labor Day weekend but it was hardly intrusive. We enjoyed our stay here and would come back if we wanted to be in this area of LA county again. Thank you Nasrin

Wonderful..

We stayed in this property during our month long vacation. The owner was cooperative from the early days of the booking. She greeted us herself upon our arrival to the house & gave us a tour with the basic instructions needed. We enjoyed all the facilities of the house which has three bedrooms & three and a half bathrooms. The swimming pool & the garden were also a delight. The owner acted very promptly when there was a problem with the Wifi & it was fixed on the same day. The neighborhood was also nice with all the facilities close by. I would definitely recommend the property for others & hope we can return again on future trips.

Great home away from home

This house is perfect for a family of 4 or 5. The owner was a delight to work with. The pool is amazing and the kids loved to play in the backyard.
