Ordered triple room, but was additional third bed was not ready when we entered. Lady at reception was not really friendly. However, the lady from housekeeping who brought the extra bed was very helpful. Overall pleasant stay, though little bit expensive.
The bedroom was spacious and nice. The hotel was well situated close to town and a supermarket.
However, the hotel is also be side the bullring and fairground and the night we stayed there was the first night of fiesta. The fairground started about 10.00pm and the noise went on to 4.00am. Sleep was very difficult and broken.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
We just needed place to stay overnight, traveling to Sevilla.
The pool was really nice. Breakfast could be better. Overall good experience.
Very Close to Gibraltar, nice quiet Hotel with a balcony and nice views. Not much is the direct vicinity but served us well enough. Pool was small and filled with non hotel guests so we did not bother.
This hotel is nothing like its described in Expedia. It's very old and there is zero insulation in walls. There is a loud party room downstairs and the noise carries right into the room. I measured the noise level at 87db with the iPhone noise meter at 3:50 am when I could no longer sleep. My kids were awake most of the night. When I asked the staff what was going on they said the response was 'Party, can't do anything. Be patient'.
So take my advice and find a better place.
Checked in to a surly unfriendly desk clerk. The lobby was unimpressive and looked like a 2-3 star hotel. However the rooms were great. Lovely doors going in to the rooms. Walls lines with marble. The cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in a hotel. Plush towels and wonderful amenities. Sadly the bird "poo" and nest on the balcony was kind of sad.
Breakfast was very good however once again the staff in the breakfast room didn't greet us, didn't smile and was grumpy.
The hotel rooms are great! The staff need a lesson in courtesy.
Very nice Hotel every thing perfect except the bed was very FIRM (HARD) we could not sleep and
got up with back pain.
The staff was very friendly and helpful too.
Comfortable hotel in a good location close to the motorway and the bull ring. Newly built and in good condition, very clean. Lacks some character as a result.
We had a great stay at Montera Plaza. Belan, the head receptionist was amazing. She was so informative and really helpful in arranging a overnight tour we did to Morrocco.
Booked this hotel as a bolt hole for trip to Tangier and we were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean with a spacious bathroom and cute balcony. Hotel recommended an amazing tapas bar for dinner and very helpful with all our queries. Great find!
We stayed for 2 nights at May Bank Holiday and had a lovely stay. Clean, large room with a massively long balcony overlooking the pool. The pool was nice (if cold as it was only May!) There was a wedding on while we were there so a lively atmosphere downstairs but once in our room (first floor) we couldn't hear it at all. Breakfast was fine especially the freshly squeezed orange juice. Ample parking. Overall perfect for our needs. We would happily stay again.
A good base for the extreme south west of Spain. Convenient for Gibraltar with Tarifa, Cadiz, Marbella and Rondo within around an hours drive. Los Barrios is a small town on a hill north of Gibraltar but you can't see the Rock from the hotel.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They do an excellent Menu del Dia for 13 Euros our only complaint was that the restaurant did not open until 20.30 but there is a cafe-bar. Breakfast was very good.
