"We are happy with a nice clean cozy hotel. Our room had the jacuzzi tub, which was very nice. A little disappointed that the restaurant on the premises was being renovated and the spa was closed. It’s ok, we went for the wine tasting anyway. "

"My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at your cottage to celebrate his birthday. I especially enjoyed seeing your farm animals. Such a special treat to walk about the back and interact with them. We found the cottage charming, clean, and comfortable. It was hard to leave after just two nights. Next time it will be more. Suzanne was an excellent host. Loved that she brought us fresh eggs from her hens. A relaxing and restful visit to Los Osos. Thank you, Lauren 😊🐓🐴"

I wish they managed the bookings themselves because the communication from the property managers Retreats (via VRBO) was frighteningly terrible, including no emailed info on check-in procedures and a 3 hour delay in response to texts the day of that I sent begging for door code (during a veritable monsoon when it wasn’t safe to be outside). I liked the location and vibe of the place but...
