“This out of the way small hotel is amazing The gardens are lovely, along the river and old bridge, and the restaurant truly special. It’s close to Rocamadour and other sites. FYI: There aren’t shops nearby, but a casual lunch place with good food is a fifteen minute walk.”

We ended up in a huge room with period furniture, huge windows with wooden shutters opening onto the courtyard outside. “We felt well cared for while spending two nights at La Bonne Auberge with our German Shepard. Emmanuel, the host, had a dog bed, water dish and disposable bags in the room on our arrival. The room was nicely appointed with a very comfortable bed and nice linens. The view from the terrace was spectacular, especially at night. Breakfast was lovely, freshly baked breads, house made yogurt and jams, fresh squeezed OJ, local honey, ham and cheeses and fresh fruit. We enjoyed dinner at the Auberge……
