This is the most amazing property. The beach house itself is stunning. In a quiet private location. The white sand beach we spent many, many houra on and only saw a few people walking the beach.Plan on returning yearly.Thank you so much for sharing your space with us.

Fabulous beach. Challenging road…needs grading. View from house limited as trees have grown and block the view from the first floor. Lots of kitchen equipment, bedding etc. wonderful overall stay. Photo is from 2nd floor deck..of sunrise.

This cottage is one of the nicest I have stayed in and of course the beach is wonderful ...long, powdery white sand with almost no seaweed ...excellent for walking as it is so flat and very good for children. We swam as well. It is close to the towns of Lockeport with more beaches and tourist things, a nice restaurant; Shelburne with a very nice waterfront.There is a very nice BBQ, outdoor shower and plenty of room in the cottage and on the deck. Beds were comfortable. Bunnies in the yard. We will probably stay here again although we like to go to different places in the province, this really hit all the boxes!

Great location

This beach house is lovely and the location is exceptional, right on a very long sandy beach with few others. Great for long relaxing walks. The house feels so welcoming and comfortable.

Somewhat remote secluded location with a beautiful beach .

A relaxing time in September with the beach to ourselves . Kayaking should be done with care & knowledge of tides. Great wildlife in area. Marshlands very peaceful .

Excellent Location

We had a lovely time! Spent all day on the beach. The children loved digging holes and making sand castles. Beach sand makes this feel like a tropical getaway. House is huge. We never even used the downstairs with 6 of us. Could have easily had another couple with us. Would recommend this hidden gem and we look forward to booking again!

We had a fantastic time at the Louis Head cottage. David was very helpful and responsive to any of my questions. We spent most of our days in and around the private property with activities like clam digging, mackerel fishing, swimming, and beach combing. The cottage itself was very comfortable and much bigger than I expected so we could spread out and had our own space. The expansive Louis Head beach was amazing and most days we had it to ourselves. Carters beach close by seems to draw much of the beach crowd from the area leaving this a pristine paradise. Thank you David for your hospitality. We would love to return in the future. Lovely Property

We stayed for 4 nights, and had a wonderful stay. The house has everything we could have wanted and the location is amazing. The beautiful beach rarely had anyone else around and was amazing. Note: bring bug spray, there were a lot of bugs on the beach at the time of year we were there.

Superb house and property

This is our second time staying at this lovely beach house in Louis Head. It is totally private and just a short walk to the beach. The beach is one of the most beautiful I have seen in NS and most of the time there was nobody on it but us. We had intended to do some exploring of the south shore on this visit but the property was just too beautiful to leave!

Louis Head Beach Tranquility

This is a quiet, tranquil setting with a long stretch of pristine, sandy beach right out the front door. Most times we were the only people on what seemed to be our own private beach. The house is extremely clean and we enjoyed sitting in the sun on the deck watching the chipmunks feast on the wild strawberries in the lawn. Totally relaxing and a completely enjoyable east coast experience.

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. It was very comfortable and well equipped. Lovely views of both the ocean and the marsh from the upper deck. A fox visited the property one evening. We also saw a couple of black bears on the other side of the river. We were surprised how bad the mosquitoes were during our stay.
