What a gem! Great for families, nice layout with everything you need and unbeatable ocean views. I liked the seclusion while being close enough to amenities. I'd love to stay again. Highly recommended!

Whispering Waves was one of the best cottages we ever stayed in. Everything about the cabin itself was immaculate and the views, closeness to the water, quietness and communications from the owners were excellent. We do not have one negative comment.

We enjoyed our time at whispering waves. The property itself sits on an amazing peace of land. We had clear sky’s both nights. Had a nice big fire the second night. The cabins are nice. They’re cozy, and we had a nice stay. The only thing I’d say, is it’s time to start thinking about updating them for the price point….they are definitely starting to show their age inside, and are showing signs of wear and tear. We did have to air it out when we got there, as it was a lil musty inside. I would stay here again. Just some honest feedback.

This area is quite remote so be sure to bring with you the grocery, etc. that you’ll need for your stay. There isn’t a lot to do in Ingomar other than walking some of the lovely nearby beaches and spending a few hours visiting Shelburne. Bring a good book and be prepared to relax and unwind. About the only suggestion I have for the property owners is to provide paper napkins or at least a roll of paper towels. We had to use bathroom wash cloths at the dinner table to wipe our fingers and mouths. Other than that minor detail, the cottage was well equipped and quite cozy. The grounds are lovely. We enjoyed our stay.

Vraiment contents d'avoir choisi cet endroit: climatisation relativement silencieuse, équipement de cuisine complet, propreté à tous les niveaux; surprise: un bain tourbillon dans une des chambres. Moins aimé : la plage qui ne fait qu'environ 100m; oubliez les longues promenades sur la plage. Toutefois l'environnement extérieur était accueillant et de nombreuses chaises style adirondak nous permettait de bien respirer l'air salin tout en ayant une très belle vue sur la baie. Excellent lieu de repos!

What a super cute place!! We arrived after dark and the owners had turned on lights for us so we didnt walk in in the dark! We only stayed 1 nite- we did a road trip around Nova Scotia - but would have loved to stay another. Beds were comfy, kitchen had what we needed and scenery was lovely. The owners were great communicators and easy to work with. We Would definitely stay again.
