“We were in town for my grandmother’s funeral and wanted to spend a little time exploring CVille and Monticello while we were here. It was clean, comfortable, safe, and cozy. It was perfect walking distance to restaurants and the mall. We were a quick drive to Monticello and hikes. Beds were comfy. My boys loved the sonic the hedgehog video game on the TV when we were packing up and during a storm that came through. We couldn’t have picked a better spot for our family. ”

“Such a nice spot! The inside was perfectly fine, but the outdoor space is truly the highlight. The owners have thoughtfully provided everything you need for water adventures—kayaks, paddle boards, a pedal boat, plus life jackets for all ages. It’s a peaceful, quiet location with a fantastic outdoor area that made our stay really enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and have fun on the water!”

“Great place with a wide range of amenities for all ages. It is so great to have a pool AND lake. Could’ve used a few more items in the kitchen, like hot pads and a can opener that works. And also could’ve used some cleats on the boat dock to tie up boat. There was nothing to tie to. ”

“I feel like reviews have been hit or miss for this place so I wanted to leave a detailed one. The place is a great size and had plenty of space for everyone to stay. There’s actually 7 bedrooms if you count the bunkroom, which doesn’t have a door to but is great for kids to sleep. There’s 3 rooms with double beds, 3 rooms with kings, and then the bunk room with 6 twins between all the bunks. The interior of the house was very clean and had a well stocked kitchen with plenty of kitchen utensils……

“This was my third time at this property. My family had a great time each year, but this time there was constant construction noise from 2 neighboring properties and the house is in need of an inside paint job due to some wall damage. Nothing serious, wear and tear, but lots of dings. However, we enjoyed the new couches. The kitchen is wonderful, with a LOT of dishes, glasses and cooking supplies. Having 4 full bathrooms is a luxury and there are plenty of towels. The lake water was 97 degrees!……
