“The accommodation is both a bar/restaurant and a b&b and sits next to the eastern pier about 400 metres from the ferry drop off. Despite my room being right above the bar - which was happy and full of chat - it was perfectly quiet in the evening. I had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. Service was pleasant and friendly. Great!”

The house location is perfect, half way between Keem beach and Achill sound where you enter on to the Island. “We arrived at Renvyle House Hotel and were met by three receptionists who were super friendly and helpful. They arranged for someone to carry our cases to our rooms. Our rooms were very comfortable and had lovely views of the sea. Dinner and breakfast were brilliant with fresh fruit and breads made on the premises. The staff in the restaurants were very attentive. This hotel has lovely walks around it and has an outdoor pool and a hot tub which was so relaxing looking out towards the……

“First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day. Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef. On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious. Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious with nice choices on……

“We had a nice stay here. Loved Westport. Easy to walk downtown from the location. Many great options for restaurants and pubs. Room was too hot with no way to control the heat, but were able open the windows to make it comfortable. ”

“We were a family of 4 visiting friends in Mulranny. Curragh Hill is a beautiful home. Beautiful linens and towels, kitchen well equipped. Very comfortable. Stunning views from the lounge where we saw dolphins on our last evening. Weather was kind enough to use the sun loungers and use the patio set.
