"The executive corner level room was very clean and quiet. The executive level R Lounge was closed for entire trip,which was not disclosed in advance. The free breakfast at the Desire Oyster Bar restaurant was good, as were the chargrilled oysters at dinner. Le Booze ( formerly very nice cigar bar) has turned into nothing but a wall of tvs, indistinguishable from any other bar on Bourbon Street. The pool was packed, though the hotel wasn't. They sell passes to the public. They claim it's a heated pool, but I , nor anyone in the water thought it was heated. The common areas are great, and the staff is friendly. Desire Oyster Bar/Restaurant puts out good food all day, with great staff. The hotel is close to the river, and very close to the top Quarter restaurants and the rest in town are easily accessible via cab or Uber/Lift."
