Beautiful villa

Absolutely stunning villa, perfect for us a group of 5 friends. Outdoor space was stunning and all amenities were perfect. Air conditioning was a god send.Taxi ride to Marina or about a 30-40 min walk. Old village 10 min walk where you can find shops, bars and Restaurants. This is also where you can collect keys for the Villa. Patrícia our host was lovely and replied to all our queries quickly. The only slight downside was the pool water was a but murky, think this is due to all the trees and greenery around, not much can be fone about that. It was cleaned on our last day and was a lot better just unfortunate that we were going home.Would definitely stay again.

Nice but tired

Villa location was ideal for the golf, the “old village” and was presented clean and tidy. However the pool furniture was old and mis matched. Air conditioning was effective and simple. Could do with updating.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at this lovely villa,the outside area is perfect and only an 8 minute walk to the Old Village.We ate at some nice restaurants and particularly loved Jaaks bar which had an acoustic guitarist on one evening and a saxophonist on another!We also went into Villamoura itself only 6 in a taxi .We will definitely return !

We have just returned from a fantastic 10 night stay in Villa Verde. The pictures do not do this beautiful home justice. The location is perfect and within 10 minute walk from Old Village or just a short uber ride from the Marina. The villa is much bigger than the pictures depict and was well equipped with everything we needed. The pool and garden area is spectacular and we spent many days lazing around the pool and dining outdoors. It’s extremely private and it really does offer a relaxing holiday and a bit of luxury. The communication was superb from Patricia from booking until the day we left. This is a 10/10 destination if you are looking for a family holiday in Vilamoura and something special.

Overall the villa is lovely but it needs a lot of updating, there is no air conditioning or safe. The pool needs a good clean and only 2 sun loungers we could use as they were all broken.

Lovely Villa Verde

This is a delightful little villa, all on ground level-with a lovely surprise of out-door steps leading to a roof-top terrace with spectacular panoramic views. The villa itself is spotless and in a quiet location. The flowers in bloom around the eaves of the villa at this time of year are beautiful. The advertised photos inside and out don't do the place justice (the furniture has been repositioned, which is a lot nicer and has a shabby chic/antique feel to it...lovely!). Only a 10 minute walk to the local supermarket in the Old Village, although on return it's uphill, so not so easy in the heat of the day, with a load of shopping...but had to be done on nearly a daily basis! Another 10/15 minutes takes you to the Marina with a 5 minute return by taxi, which is around 5 euros. The only negative points were that we were led to believe there was a TV and wi-fi. After contacting Claudia in day 2, it took another 4 days for the engineer to finally install 3 channels (1 with news and another 2 with Dutch in German subtitles). I know you don't go on holiday to watch the TV, but it's an alternative at night when it's chilly outside. The wi-fi never took place however, but I didn't want to complain again. Another problem was the showers. The villa description stated that there were no showers, but after seeing the photos there were shower curtains, which led me to believe that there were, but not in cubicles. There were showers, but not fixed to the wall-which made showering a bit of a chore, only using 1 hand to wash! The only other (small) issue was that Housekeeping came only on the Saturday to change towels and bedding when it stated they were meant to visit mid-week also (they did remove our empty bottles from the night before though, before we managed to). Not a major problem. The pool was nice-quite cold due to it being in the shade a lot of the day, but we were glad of the natural shade with trees from the golf course throughout the day! The pool cleaner came a couple of times, which was nice to have it hoovered at the bottom. The tiles were really dirty at water level though, so perhap a good scrub could be recommended at the same time. In summary-we had a fabulous fortnight in Villa Verde (only 1 day of rain and only a couple of mosquito bites). We would definitely consider booking again if the TV, wi-fi and shower issues were addressed. I would love to hear of any updates on these! Elaine and Steven McCover

Maison très agréable dans un quartier calme et environnement très joli tout en étant à proximité du centre et de la plage (quelques minutes en voiture) Malgré tout, au vu du prix de la location quelques petits détails pourraient être améliorés (table extérieure en très mauvais état, nappe déchirée, forte odeur de tabac dans une chambre) d'où seulement 4 étoiles au niveau de l'appréciation générale...

Schönes Haus, nur leider ohne Klimanlage!!

Für den Preis und die Lage ist es leider vollkommen unangemessen, dass das Haus keine Klimanalage hat. Habe ich leider beim buchen übersehen und wir waren sehr enttäuscht. Die Vermittlerin hat zwar noch versucht win mobiles Gerät zu organisieren, was sehr nett war, aber nicht ausreichend. Ohne Klimatisierung kann ich das Haus leider für den Preis absolut nicht weiterempfehlen.

Franchement tout était très bien. La piscine très agréable comme les coins à manger extérieurs. Maison dans un environnement très calme mais tout de même proche du centre de Vilamoura/Quarteira en voiture. Golf à proximité très bien. Seul point négatif, il aurait été préférable d'intégrer lors de l'arrivée du papier WC et un nécessaire de cuisine (papier ménage, liquide vaisselle, patte/éponge,...) Merci encore,

Another great stay at Casa Vila Verde!

This was our second visit to Casa Vila Verde, family had an amazing time, villa is spotless and pool is fantastic. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for quiet relaxing holiday but only shirt walk to the old town and 10 mins in taxi to the Marina.

Les PLUS : descriptif très conforme, aucune mauvaise surprise, piscine privée très propre. Maison bien conçue. Environnement idyllique et vue dégagée sur le golf. Orientation parfaite. Terrasse sur le toit. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Patricia a toujours rapidement répondu à nos questions. Les MOINS : le jardinier arrive sans prévenir et rentre sans demander autorisation pour s'occuper de la piscine tous les 3 jours. Maison sans Climatisation. La Villa se situe sur le départ du trou N°2 et ses golfeurs matinaux.
