"Everything g was amazing accept the restaurant. They had us waiting over an hour to get seated although there was so many seats open. They said the kitchen needed a break. The following morning we needed to eat before leaving and we asked several times when they open- they said 7am and then when we got there they said they serve breakfast at 8am which didn’t allow us the opportunity to eat before taking off on the plane. The lack of communication and their unwillingness to provide food in a timely manner was super confusing. This place is a business and we watched them lose so many customers. They didn’t seem to care. "

"We were not sure what to expect because we got the room at such a great rate. We just needed a place to rest our heads on a long road trip. We were pleasently surpried The Ashmore was one of the nicer rooms we have stayed in for several years. The bed was comfy and the room nice-sized. The location was excellent; very close to dining and shopping with easy access to the freeway. Check-in was a breeze with a friendly staff. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Lubbock!"

"I am sooo grateful and impressed with the welcome and service I received upon my very late (11:00pm) arrival after a very long day of unexpected travel. My son’s car broke down on the way back to Texas Tech from Dallas/Plano and I had to come straight from work to pick him up (& his friend) to get them back to campus for the final stretch. I literally had only the clothes I was wearing when I arrived. The concierge greeted me warmly and when I asked for a toothbrush she disappeared and returned with a complete care package with everything I could need! (Toothbrush & paste, soaps & shamp/cond which were also in the room), comb, water bottle, snacks, chocolate… I was/am beyond grateful! Great job! The room was open and roomy and well designed for space and comfort. I’m about to go have breakfast, another great perk! THANK YOU! (only 4 stars on location cuz it’s a highway… which is convenient & perfect proximity to campus but nothing to look at and walking is not possible, which is fine, but not 5 stars…) "
