Stayed in honeymoon suite with a beautiful view of the city and river. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and enjoyed our stay. Thankfully there were fans in the room to keep you cool because no A/C. If you do some research ahead of time finding the hotel and check in location is easy.

This property is a bit difficult to access for the mature travelers walking from the train station. The Barock suite, while fairly large was a bit austere and baroque for our tastes. The service staff was pretty loud when they did their work and the view from the room is a bit limited and unappealing. The central location in the Altstadt area was excellent, however, offsetting the less than positively aspects noted.

Stayed in the honeymoon suite with our two boys and parents and there was plenty of room however only one shower. The location is excellent - centrally located and very walkable. Hotel staff was nice and facility was clean. My mom was very happy to have fresh towels every day without asking. No AC and temperatures in the 80's, so an extra oscillating fan would have been nice, but not a deal breaker.

Excellent location, right in the heart of old town. Only challenge was that we happened to pick a time when Lucerne was having a heat wave and the room we had was hot and there’s no air conditioning. They did have at least one working fan but it was still very hot

The property was clean and relatively quiet. There were a number of restaurant options in the area and it was within easy walking distance to many of the sites that are clearly worth seeing. The breakfast was outstanding.

We had a fantastic stay at Altstadt Magic in Luzern. The hotel is right in the heart of old town and less than a 10 minute walk to anything you would want to see. The staff were all friendly and helpful especially Ekaterina who helped us to get our lost luggage from the airline. She was very communicative throughout the process. The room itself had a balcony with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains
