Hotel location is perfect at the old town area. Train station is about a 10-15 mins walk away. We took a cab when we checked in but it’s definitely walkable if you don’t have much baggage. The rooms are of a very decent size and are pretty well maintained too, only thing I can complain is the toilet size as I could only open and close the toilet door halfway without knocking on the toilet bowl.

Don’t look anywhere else. We had trouble getting to the hotel - they sent two staff members out to take our car to the parking garage and our luggage. The balconies overlooking the river were phenomenal. The bathroom ceiling has a star ceiling that lights up as a night light. I couldn’t say enough amazing things about this hotel. We should have stayed there longer.

Very clean, comfortable and well appointed room. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Our rooms had a lovely river view that made the terrace irresistible, especially at night. The location was great for sightseeing and enjoying restaurants. It was a great choice for us.

It’s an expensive hotel BUT you are on the river!! Pretty much ZERO room amenities so that was disappointing. The River is the amenity. Dinner WAS terrific. $$$$ I’m glad we stayed but this was my 4th hotel in Switzerland in the past 2 weeks as we traveled around and it was by far the most expensive and definitely had the least amenities. All other hotels had fantastic coffee stations, water, sodas, ice cream bars, a tote! And so much more.

It is a lovely historic property in an ideal location. Close to the train station - ten minute walk - and beautiful view from our terrace. Definitely looks and feels upscale. We felt like we were in a storybook. We enjoyed the free ice cream they offer guests throughout the day and the chocolates in our room. We had a suite.

Location, location, location! Right next to river & restaurants, excellent bar just outside entrance. Very clean & courteous staff, rooms are small with no microwave. Would definitely stay here again!
