nice view, nice location and large place but not much else
Overall this property has that it is relatively a large space, with a large master bedroom and has a nice view of the lake Lugano through albeit through the trees and a convenient location [bus stop just down hill, or a nice 20 minute walk into town]. Clearly the kitchen and bathroom have been updated and so there were good appliances and a new washer and dryer. But, there is not much else to say about the place. There needs to be an effort to update, clean and make the place comfortable. The floors were dusty and had not been really cleaned. Nice new leather couch and love seat most everything else is old and rather uncomfortable. The internet didn't really consistently work so the TV doesn't work. The manaagercontact numbers were a waste of time and just sent us to talk to someone else and then someone else. The bathroom tub doesn't really drain effectively. The 2nd bedroom the bed is too big for the room and tyou shower or bathe you have to scrape the soap scum. The 2nd room the door will not really open but half way because the bed doesnt really fit in the room. The kitchen has mismatched incomplete dishes, one barely functional knife. There was no soap for dishes. There are no instructions how to use anything. Overall this place was quite expensive for what was a relatively below average rental. I have stayed in 20 or so VRBOs in Europe and this was on the bottom quarter of places we have stayed in Europe. I was overall disappointed by this place.
