Great place, everything worked well and service was friendly and competent … I was first person at breakfast and had to find coffee server - would prefer self-serve coffee and something warm in the breakfast - a little bit of egg or sausage would have been great … 4.5 overall

Hotel Petalozzi was clean, comfortable, and relaxing. The rooms were large, modern and well appointed. It was very hot and humid when we arrived so we were very thankful for the air conditioning! The hotel is close to everything yet not directly in center which is nice. The staff was friendly and efficient.

My single room was clean and in excellent repair. The hotel location is convenient to restaurants, sights and transport. The number 1 bus which goes almost everywhere I wanted to go stops directly in front of the hotel.

Great location with lovely staff

Stayed on 2nd floor with front and side windows. Lots of noise in the park across the road but the windows and a/c block it. Staff is excellent, cold breakfast had lots of options and for an extra 8F you could have scrambled eggs. Great location to walk to everything.

We had a nice room with a great bathroom. The room seemed newly renovated. The hotel was being renovated during our stay but was not a problem at all. The staff was friendly and breakfast was really good. It is a short walk to the water and to shopping/ dining. The bus stops right out front making it convienidnt to get to locations such as Mount Bre and Mount San Salvador.

Central Lugano

This was 2nd time to stay at this hotel and it was still as good as the 1st. It is nicely located to be able to get to any part of the city in 10-15 mins tops. Rooms are simple and nice. Clean private bathroom and the staff was eager to help, if needed. Nice large breakfast option if you like that to start your day.

Easy walk from train station to funicular and then hotel! Many dining options near or at the hotel restaurant. Staff was great! One evening we had leftovers which they refrigerated for us . We played cards and ate leftovers the next night in the tv salon. Room is small but well organized.
